The Disinformation War Is Now Upon Us.

Well, if you have been watching the frantic rush by the cultural Marxist media to censor Alex Jones off all their lists you have to come to one conclusion–this is one of the most well coordinated “spontaneous” purges we will ever see in our lifetime. The list of outfits that will no longer carry Alex Jones’ material is about half as long as your arm. Every media outlet from Facebook to Spotify is on it except Twitter and I expect they will fall in line shortly.

They will all give you noble-sounding reasons why they just can’t justify carrying Infowars.com any longer–but the truth of the matter is that http://infowars.com carries truth that they don’t really want the public to see and so they are all pushing to make sure the public sees as little of it as possible.

And as I’ve said before, don’t think they will stop with Infowars.com. If they can silence Alex then they will move on to censor Drudge, Zero Hedge, World Net Daily, Breitbart, Lew Rockwell and anyone else they feel gives the public too big a dose of the real truth. You have to realize one thing in our day about censors–they seek to hide the truth from us. The public has started, for the first time in my lifetime, to wake up to the truth of how this country has been screwed over for decades and the task of the censors is to make sure they don’t hold onto that memory by removing all the information pertaining to it and how it was done from public view.

During all my growing up years the only major “information” sources available were the New York Times (which printed all the news that fit) and the Washington  Post, along with NBC, ABC, and CBS (the communist broadcasting system). Those “news outlets” had the corner on the market and they  printed everything the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission wanted us to  know–and nothing they didn’t.

In the last few years the alternative media has blossomed, and along with it the alt.right media and we started finding  out stuff the “big 5” really didn’t want us to know. And along came the internet, which was really responsible for both Ron Paul and Donald Trump doing as well as they did.

But now the Deep State has decided that all this truth-telling has gone far enough–it’s got to cease as the Deep States agenda is in jeopardy. Can’t have people waking up and realizing what they are doing to them and starting to  push back. They need to start getting us deplorables back in line where we just sit down and shut up. So bring on the censors. They can shut down the truth-tellers and start telling us how much they hurt “our democracy” and “our (really their) American way of life” with the truth.

Don’t for one minute think the censors will stop with Alex Jones.  If they can silence him (which I hope they are not able to) then they will attack all the other people I have mentioned in this article and lots that I didn’t mention. I think their final aim is the total destruction of the alternative media in every way, shape and form it exists in. This is  to be a thorough, complete purge, Soviet style. I think that’s where they are going with this. A cultural atrocity until no one is left but their spokesmen.

And for the Southern Heritage folks that don’t think this has anything to do with them, all you have to do is look at their ongoing attacks on our flags and monuments in the past several years to realize that we are on their to do list too. How much of our truth have they censored out with their “Civil War was only fought over slavery” blarney? You all know what I am talking about and in your hearts you have to realize that what is going on now in the political realm will affect you and your children.

How many of you have checked out Infowars.com lately to find out what really goes on in the country? No fun, you say? Of course it’s no fun–but you need to know!

Then there is the plan that Senate Democrats are planning for a government takeover of the  internet. Why don’t you check that one out on the internet. Try to see what you can find on duckduckgo.com  There’s lots of stuff there you don’t see other places.

Make no mistake, the Leftists and their paymasters among us intend to institute, via censorship, a complete purge of all internet sites where you can pick up even a few grains of truth. It’s in the works now and one thing you can do to slow it down is to start viewing on a regular basis those sites they are trying to censor.

Free Muslim Immigration into Europe–the Barcelona Declaration of 1995

Maybe I am just dense, but until I got an email from a friend up in Missouri, I had never even heard of this, or if I did it was so long ago I had totally forgotten it. It just goes to show you that the Internationalists, the One World Government crowd, is always at work 24/7 to force their agenda on people who just want to be left alone. However, unpleasant as it is for us. we have got to wake up and realize that the One World Government crowd is never going to let us or anyone else alone.

They have a Luciferian agenda to remake the entire world over into the image of their deity.  The fact that Genesis 3 tells them this will never happen matters not at all to them as their apostles continue to “prowl about as roaring lions seeking whom they may devour.” And one way they seek to devour is through ethnic and cultural genocide.

I came across a site called http://balder.org/euromed-en and the article I found was titled: Free Muslim Immigration to Europe 2. It wasn’t long but it had to do with “secretive European Union-agreements with 10 European and North African countries” and it said “The Euro Mediterranean Declaration was agreed upon by the EU, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and Israel and comprises:  Comprehensive political partnership, among other things about:: establishing a free trade area and economic integration to begin in the year 2010,…Cultural partnership. The EU offers the populations of 9 Muslim Countries  free movement of goods, services, capital and people into the EU.”

The “Cultural Policy” in all this “must avoid the  popular distinction between ‘them’ and ‘us’…The Danish Foreign Ministry is educating us from our ‘stereotypes and prejudices’ towards Islamic culture.’ Naturally UNESCO is one of the groups involved in this propaganda campaign.

A brief comments about this turned up on http://www.abovetopsecret,com  that said “It seemingly explains the influx of Muslim immigrants into Europe, once again without mandate, it enforces multiculturalism in Europe…with financial reward to participating nations. There are many links on the subject, many citing it as a massive failure.”

Another one I came across is https://www.liveleak.com/  No date on this one but it has  posted two videos. I tried the first one and it was not available so I went to the second one and was able to pull it up. The title was The Barcelona Declaration/ Why Multiculturalism Has Failed in the EU. The man had somewhat of an accent, which doesn’t help with my hearing problem, but he gave a pretty fair explanation of much of what has happened in Europe.

My friend in Missouri gave a rather penetrating analysis of this and he connected some dots that many would not have noticed. I think he is right on the money! He said, in part, “The time of the Barcelona Declaration (1995) roughly corresponds with the beginning of the more widespread attacks on the Confederate Flag. At the time several of us were pointing out that the Flag attack was part of a larger plan that had to do with state and regional sovereignty. A resurgent South was just not part of the globalist plan. Little did I know that the Barcelona Dec was the blueprint for that plan. The Barcelona Declaration began implementation in 2010 of the beginning of  the ‘migrant’ crisis…It is similar to the ‘Open Borders’ policy promoted in the US. It started in Europe but is now in the US and the heart of the globalist plan.”

His insightful comments prove that the last place you go to for “news” is the news media because what they fail to tell you is usually  more important than the bovine fertilizer they spread in front of you as “breaking news.”

“Love and Peace” and Multiculturalism Really Equal Hate (But you are not supposed to know that).

We seem to be wallowing in a politically correct (cultural Marxist) sea, (bilge included) of love, diversity, sensitivity, multi-culturalism,  and a few other “isms” I won’t mention here for the sake of decency. Most of those involved in various aspects of these “movements” really want to convey the idea that they are involved in what they do for the betterment of the world. Yet, if you look at them and what they say and do, you begin to realize that the one thing they all have in common is an abiding hatred for Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Anything built upon any kind of Christian foundation is anathema to these people and they will go to great lengths to tear it  down.

They loudly proclaim that Christians are hate-mongers, yet we don’t see Christians running around tearing down historical monuments and flags, even those they may disagree with. We don’t see Christians with masks over their faces loudly claiming they are “anti-fascists” as they race to break up demonstrations and parades they don’t agree with. Only the proponents of Leftist love do that—all in the name of sensitivity and diversity.

It should have become more than obvious to thinking people by now that those on the Left that engage in this sort of behavior in the name of diversity really want no opinions out there that dissent from their Leftist dogma. They really don’t want people to have a chance to know the truth. They are nothing more than liars who want to shut down all opposition to the far-left agenda they promote for those big money moguls that finance them. They love no one and hate everybody, and  then they have the gall to call Christians purveyors of hate.

You have to realize that this is all by design. These people may claim to be opposed to capitalism or private property or unequal distribution of the wealth, but what they really seek to do is to tear down completely whatever remains of our Christian foundations. Nowhere is this more obvious than in their assaults on our Christian heritage and culture, especially here in the South!

Our Christian history and culture has to be replaced by some grotesque vision out of the Communist Manifesto, the Illuminati’s handbook for the destruction of a Christian society. And to think, our universities teach this  stuff and we pay to send our kids there to be indoctrinated. Then we wonder why kids are leaving the churches. And I haven’t even touched on what the kids get fed in grades K-12.

I’ll note one small instance here. When we lived back on the East Coast, there was a school over in Rhode Island that invited a prostitute to come in and lecture either one of the middle school grades or high school grades, I can’t recall just which right now. So how much benefit were those kids supposed to get out of this? And this wasn’t someone who had repented and was there to tell the kids how bad it was—she was still in business.

I have looked at a lot of the aberrations that have gone on in government schools over the decades and one thing I have noted—all of them were anti-Christian in some way, no exceptions! But then, the history of the government school system is shrouded in anti-Christianity. That should probably tell parents with kids in public schools that their kids would be better off in some other more Christian educational environment. Unfortunately, in the 40-plus years I have been observing this phenomenon most Christian parents don’t seem to have gotten the message. There are times when you almost feel like asking—“Oh Lord,  how long???”

The Fat Lady Stepped Up To The Counter And Said “WHERE’S THE EVIDENCE?”

Many of you may remember the television commercial from several years ago where this small lady stepped up to the lunch counter and hollered “Where’s the beef?” It was some sort of fast food commercial but it caught peoples’ attention and the short lady in the commercial ended up doing more commercials for different companies along the same lines.

Someone with imagination today could probably do a similar commercial where some old lady steps up in front of a Robert Mueller or Adam Schiff facsimile and shouts “Where’s the evidence?”

It would be an interesting question to be approached in this manner, seeing that after almost two years of all kinds of allegations about Russia hacking the 2016 election for Trump and even more allegations about Trump’s dealings with Putin to make double sure Trump won the election, there seems to be somewhat of a dearth of any real evidence to support these highly questionable claims.

This is confirmed by an article by Ray McGovern on Consortium News for June 7th,  https://consortiumnews.com/2018/06/07/still-waiting-for-evidence-of-a-russian-hack  Mr. McGovern notes: “More than two years after the allegation of Russian hacking of the 2016 presidential election was first made, conclusive proof is still lacking and may never be produced. If you are wondering why so little is heard these days of accusations that Russia hacked into the U.S. election in 2016, it could be because those charges could not withstand close scrutiny…Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity–including two ‘alumni’ who were former National Security Agency technical directors–have long since concluded that Julian Assange did not acquire what he called the ’emails related to Hillary Clinton’ via a ‘hack’ by the Russians or anyone else. They found, rather, that he got them from someone with physical access  to Democratic National Committee computers who copied the material onto an external storage device–probably a thumb drive.” In other words, it was an inside job, not the Russians! Is anyone surprised? Some have wondered if this had anything to do with the Seth Rich “robbery”/murder.

One of the greatest congressional snake oil salesmen who has mercilessly promoted the Trump/Russian collusion fable has been the Democrat’s professional prevaricator, Adam Schiff. To listen to Schiff you would think there were, literally,  mountains of evidence out there conclusively proving that Trump and Putin were in bed with one another and that Putin was really running Washington! However, for some arcane reason, Mr. Schiff “can’t share the evidence” but we are all supposed to believe that he is sitting on it, mountains of it! McGovern noted in his article “…I had a chance to challenge  Schiff personally on the gaping disconnect between the Russians and WikiLeaks. Schiff still ‘can’t share the evidence’ witlh me…or with anyone else, because it does not exist.” Schiff continues to protest that he has all this evidence, but he just can’t share it with anyone–we’ll all just have to take his word that he has it and continue to believe what he and the other Democrats  have been telling us about how ensnared Trump is with the Russians–who are really running the White House, because, after all, haven’t they told us this is what’s going on? And isn’t that good enough? Maybe, if you are a blithering idiot, what the Democrats say is good enough for you, but for anyone with at least half a brain, it shouldn’t be.

Over the decades the Democrats have been famous, from St. Hillary and her significant other, on down,  for falsehood, illusion and delusion–and yet now we are supposed to believe them???  I don’t think Mr. Schiff would know the truth if it jumped out of his office wastebasket and belted him in the chops! And all that is not to say that the Republicans are pure as the driven snow by any means.

All of what has gone on via the continuing efforts of Mueller, Schiff, and company has been a major part of the prolonged effort by the Deep State to destabilize Trump’s presidency because the Deep State really doesn’t want him there–they wanted Hillary–but God intervened and now they are ticked.

It should have occurred to these rocket scientists by now that this really isn’t working out quite the way they planned and what they are really doing is exposing their own efforts to illegally remove Trump from office. The American people, thanks to the alternative media, have begun to see all this and they are tending to get fed  up with it.

There has been lots of talk of late about another “civil war” in America. Should that happen, some of these Deep State denizens may not like some of the results. In the meantime, Mr.Mueller, Mr. Schiff–Where’s the Evidence???

 

Email and/or internet censorship–perish the thought

Back when Comrade Obama was still in office there was talk of internet censorship, but when he reluctantly departed (though he didn’t go very far–certainly not far enough) we all thought that might not occur.

Seems we may have been wrong.

I and others have taken note lately  that several messages we have sent out on our various email sites do not seem  to be getting through to many of those we send them to.

A couple months ago I did an article for this blog spot and in the subject line on my email server I had the word “secession.” One email server just would not send it, no matter how hard or often I tried. No matter what I did that link with “secession” on the subject line wasn’t going no place. Perceiving that I may have pricked the tender feelings of some poor soul in the forwarding process I changed the word secession to “separation” and resent the message. It went through  immediately.

I have since attempted to be a bit more temperate in what I put on the subject lines of emails going out of here. On one article I was going to put “Big Brother” on the subject line, but then reflected a bit and thought, no way will Big Brother make it past the censor, so I changed the subject line title and the article title to “The elder sibling is watching over you.” That went through. Im sure “Big Brother” would never have made it.

The mode of email censorship doesn’t seem to be universal. Yesterday I sent out an article someone had forwarded to me about a big Confederate flag being  put up somewhere in Alabama. I felt, in the face of all the ethnic cleansing we had experienced in the last couple of years, it was a positive article and an encouragement  to folks so I passed it on to many.

Today I got some response. One man in Texas said they must have shut the site down as he couldn’t get into it at all. A man in West Virginia said he could open the article but not get the picture of the flag, and a lady in Georgia said the same thing. It would appear that most other folks go it–at least so far.

Reminds me of a friend in North Carolina with a big email list who used to include a small pic of a Confederate flag at the bottom of the emails he sent out. One find day the emails started bouncing back as undeliverable. Now my friend is a person who has been known to connect the  dots as  it were, and so he tried sending the same messages out minus the Confederate flag at the  bottom. Guess what? All his messages started going through again! Seems the Confederate flag was a major impediment to email being forwarded. Wonder why that was. You don’t suppose there’s some grumpy old censor somewhere down the line that hates Confederate flags do you? Why perish the thought! Our emails are supposed to be private, are they not, and unless you put really horrible language or something like that in them I always thought they were to be left alone. Guess I  was wrong. It seems that the personal like and dislikes of the email censors are now what really counts. Political correctness seems to rule and if you have something some cultural Marxist doesn’t personally like in your email, guess what? It ain’t going anywhere or you will  end up getting that ever-useful comment “There was a problem loading the message.” Translation–Forget it! Unless you go to a different email server and even there the censors have their code words they watch out for.

Then we get these adds on email  sites about how concerned they are for our “privacy.” What they are really concerned about is that we don’t say anything that would be politically incorrect (not culturally Marxist).

Well, I’ve got this posted. Now lets see how well I do sending it out. I’m sure the mention of Confederate flags here will offend the sensibilities of some tender soul somewhere that will want to make sure this article gets no further than him–lest someone down the line be contaminated with a little truth!

Being Watched Over? Or Just Watched?

On May 30th Tyler Durden had an informative article up on https://www.zerohedge.com that was written by a former Green Beret on http://www.SHTFplan.com

It was definitely food for thought and something we should be aware of.I am going to quote a bit of it here and urge folks to check it out on their own.

The author wrote: “We have been watching the shift of society and all of its components to collectivist thought and action in preparation for the step into a full-blown totalitarian state. Already the Constitution and our rights enumerated within it have been relegated to impotency and  practically abrogated.”

And he continued: “The key to this has not been the use of force, but the molding of thought and behavior over the decades within the schools, with the fostered predictive programming of pop culture and television, and within the lying, Marxist, mainstream media.”

With the article is sort of a poster, showing a line of kids with the tops of their heads open and something being poured in.The poster reads Education is not a right. Knowledge is power. Power is dangerous. Keep them stupid.

The author observes the increased police presence in schools and then he says: “…as we have seen with the school shootings this year, they certainly aren’t there to protect the students. Police are in schools to enforce conformity and submissive behavior: they’re managing the ‘troupe’ of juveniles, driving the herd. Collective, community thought is the mantra…Gone is  personal development, let alone fun, the latter being archaic and non-utilitarian. In the past 3 to 4 decades, this collective ‘consciousness’ has become the norm. Creative thought is discouraged unless it is directed…directed by authorities or ‘approved’ controllers/managers…”  You might label such people as change agents   because that’s exactly what they are. They are there to change your kids’ mode of thinking from what you taught them to what they want them to “learn.”

One thing this author notes is our “fostered dependency” on electronic gadgets where many, if not most people, think that they absolutely cannot do without them, especially the latest models of most of them. He says “Every week a new report or story surfaces that shows just how far the government and the corporate interests are pushing this electronic dependency, while the schools are shaping the consciousness of the public and  making it ever more malleable. Toward what end? Toward the one that recurs throughout history. We have been warned by Orwell, by Solzhenitsyn,  and many others. Whether we will heed those warnings and take preventive measures remains to be seen…”

The Deep State is all about power (holding onto and expanding it) and money (stealing all they can from the public while telling us it is all for our own good).

No matter who sits in the White House, this continues to go on, and I am not sure any sitting president can really do all that much about it, well intentioned though he might be.

One thing some folks can do, though, is be aware of just how much your pubic school system contributes to all of this and take steps to get your kids out of it and into private Christian education. The public (government) school system is a major contributor to all of this and you need to be aware of that–and act accordingly.

It’s NOT On His “To Do” List

There was an interesting article on https://renewedriglht.com over the weekend. I will quote briefly from it. “Americans were outraged to learn in reports that the FBI deployed a spy to inform on the Trump campaign. The Obama administration and the FBI colluded to run active measures against their political opponents.” is anyone really surprised? You shouldn’t be. The Deep State has not, and will not, stop at anything to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump For many Deep State operatives this is what they live for.

They’ve had it all their own way for so long, and now along comes Donald Trump, and he tips their little RED wagon over, and they have to make sure he atones for that. Their final solution for Trump–totally destroy him–and do it in such a way that no one coming after him will ever dare to upset their cultural Marxist apple cart again–ever! I wonder if there is any kind of jail sentence possible for those Obamaphiles   who ran active measures against Trump in order to help Hillary. But then, with our two-tiered “just us” system there probably isn’t. You know how it is–“different strokes for different folks!” Many of our Deep State people are simply too big and important to go to  jail. That’s just for us serfs, not them. And please don’t tell me we have a government of laws and not men. That went out with Abe Lincoln. If you don’t think so, read the American Bastille.

And now we have a “Just Us” Department whose real ruler is a man named Rosenstein. His name is not on the bosses door but it might as well be because he’s the one really running the show. The man whose name is on the door might as well have  been on vacation for the last year. All he is  interested in is civil asset forfeiture. He lets Rosenstein handle everything else.

As far as Trump “colluding” with the Russians so they would swing the election for him, we have Herr Robert Mueller “investigating” that for us. His attitude toward Donald Trump is that of a chicken hawk that has spotted a rabbit he wants for lunch. He has assembled a list of truly “impartial” lawyers to help him bag–er, I mean investigate Trump’s many and varied ties to Putin and Russia. As for those ties to Russia, after a year and a half, he hasn’t been able to  locate any of them, but  hey, don’t worry–just give him another $20 million and three for four more years and he’ll be able to put something together–true or not won’t make any difference.

In the meantime, there is all manner of evidence out there tying Hillary and Company to real Russian collusion, from the Uranium One deal forward. So why isn’t  Mueller checking  some of this out? You’re kidding right?

The only thing on Mueller’s “to do” list is to make sure he finds something, anything, to make Trump look bad. As far as the real Russian collusion of Hillary and Company with Russia, forget that. No one is interested or wants to know about it so let’s just all forget about it. Hillary and Company are way too important to pay for their sins anyway. Mueller knows  that! His “to do” list will never, never, never include any of Hillary’s “indiscretions.” She’s far too important to the Deep State to ever have those brought up–and those who do bring them up will have to be censored off the internet because they are promoting “hateful” ideas about Hillary. The  thought that she should be prosecuted for her crimes is absolutely hateful to her, and so the Deep State needs to censor all internet sites that might even look like they might lean in that direction. After all, it’s for the “good of the country” don’t you know. And to paraphrase the quote from the crooked banker in the old movie Stagecoach “what’s good for Hillary is good for the country.” Right???

So, don’t ever  think that Mueller will deal with Hillary’s Russian collusion, folks. That ain’t on the agenda and never will be. And if you know what’s good for you, you better start ignoring that. Remember, in this Deep State occupied country, our “Just Us” system can best be described as “Hillaryous.”

Oklahoma Reminiscences

Recently, I picked up a book at one of the local libraries called Killers of the Flower Moon—The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI,  written by a David Grann. Mr. Grann is a staff writer at the New Yorker  so there would probably be some things he and I would not agree on politically, but he did write an interesting book about how a group of people in Osage County, Oklahoma killed off  several Osage  Indians in order to get the headrights to their oil leases and  make lots and lots of money from that.

It interested me because, back in the late 1960s I had briefly lived in Osage County, Oklahoma, which had been the old Osage Indian reservation. It is still listed that way on some maps.

My Dad had sold his home in the East and bought a trailer and we went West, so wherever we set the trailer up at night, that was home, at least for that night. We got as far as central New Mexico, looking for work, of which there was very little. At the same time I was trying to make a little selling my paintings. The art market in New Mexico was pretty competitive and I wasn’t nearly as good as most of those artists around Taos and Santa Fe, so we headed back east from there.

We recrossed the Oklahoma panhandle, part of the area covered by the Dust Bowl in the 1930s,  and we checked work possibilities all the way back across Oklahoma. Just about nil! We ended up in the eastern part of Osage County and spent part of the rest of that year there. Had we been able to get any kind of work, we would have stayed. We even checked into employment for the state park service and my Dad and I went down to Oklahoma City to see about that, but no possibilities even there that would do us any good. And while there, we visited the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, which at the time was having a large exhibit of the work of Western artists, and I wanted so see their work; see how they painted some of those things so natural to the Western scene—rocks, cactus, sagebrush, etc.

Oklahoma is an interesting state—all the way from the hill country in the eastern part of the state to the high plains of the Oklahoma panhandle—where the wind never stops blowing, day or night. I remember one  place in the panhandle we stopped for something and I asked a man in front of the store there “Is it always this windy here?” To which he replied “Hell  no. Sometimes it gets windier.” After having camped two days at Black Mesa State Park and seen the wind blow about 40 mph 24/7, I wasn’t about to disagree with him!

Anyway, Osage County was also an interesting mix, part of it in what they call the Osage Hills and part of  it tall grass prairie. They have what they call bluestem grass there, which is really good for cattle.

There used to be several oil boom towns in Osage County, mostly gone now, but there was one we went through several times called Burbank. It wasn’t the most scenic place around and it looked pretty much like a ghost town, almost no sign of life at all and it had been a rip-roaring town in its heyday. Interestingly enough, we went through there in 1971 so I could show folks we were with what a ghost town looked like, and instead we found a town in the process of being revived, much like what we saw in Virginia City, Montana years later. Some ghosts don’t stay dead!

Oklahoma had its share of interesting characters. The second time we were in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, which is in Washington County, right next  door to Osage County, we saw an old man with white hair and a handlebar mustache. He just looked interesting and so we asked about him. Come to find out, in his early days, he had been a train robber and had ridden with the Al Spencer gang. Seems he had gotten caught after a robbery and did jail time. The locals in Bartlesville thought  he must have had loot from a robbery stashed somewhere because they said he always had money and no one ever heard of him working.

Another interesting character I got to know was an old trick roper named Raymond. He had some sort of back injury that prevented him from doing rodeos anymore, but boy, could he still do tricks with that rope! He lived in the back of a pawn shop in Bartlesville, a  pawn shop that, interestingly enough, was willing to display my Western artwork in its front window. I sold a few pictures because of his display, and I found out an interesting fact. When a lot of Oklahomans buy something off you they want to dicker over the price. In the East that almost never  happened.  You put a price on something and folks either paid it  or walked off. In Oklahoma they wanted to dicker over it. If  you had a price of $15 on a picture they’d walk around it, stand back for a few minutes and say “I’ll give $7.50 for it. So if you really wanted to sell it, you learned to dicker with them. You also learned, becoming aware of their horsetrading  propensities, to ask a little more for a picture than you really expected to get in hope of coming out of the dickering process  with something near what you really wanted. All told, this was an interesting experience.

The time finally came, though, with the austere work situation in Oklahoma, we had to go further east in order to find work to be able to survive. Sad as I was to leave Oklahoma, the Lord knew what He had planned for me. Had we stayed there I never would have married my wife. So in the end, the Lord knows what’s best for each of us.

As our kids got old enough to travel, I wanted my wife and kids to see the places in the West I  had enjoyed so much in  earlier years and so when the kids  were younger we went all over the  place out there. My wife loved it like I did. We both still do, though we can’t go anymore. The kids didn’t always appreciate some of the places we took them when they were younger. Now they do. They realize they got to a lot of places that not too many tourists get to.

And through it all, Oklahoma still remains one of my favorite spots—a mixture of West and South—with lots of friendly folks. For any interested in travel, I’d definitely recommend it.

The Mainstream Media Is A Fraud

Anyone who has followed the machinations of what we affectionately call the Main Stream Media (MSM) knows that what I have stated above in the title of this article is nothing new.

The so-called “news” media (really Fake News media) has not been about real news probably at any point in my lifetime. I have watched situations I have been involved with as they were “reported” by the MSM and what they report is usually totally at variance with what actually happened. They don’t report the news. That’s not really their job, although they try to con the public into thinking it is. Their real job is to spin the news so it comes across in a way that satisfies those who pay them. Reporting real, accurate news is last on their list of  priorities.

And these “news anchors” on CNN and MSNBC  and other mainstream sites are beyond ludicrous. In fact, they stretch all the way to ridiculous. How anyone can sit through more than ten seconds of their Leftist drivel is beyond me.

An interesting column appeared on http://www.thefederalist.com on 11/15/16, written, I think, by a John Daniel Davidson. He refers to a column by Margaret Sullivan in the Washington Post in which she is “concerned” about free speech during a Trump presidency.

Davidson noted that: “The column itself is a fine example of an emerging subgenre of post-election journalism that pretends to care about free speech now that Trump has won the White House. The great irony of these missives is that the outlets publishing them didn’t  seem to care all that much during Barack Obama’s tenure in  office. They were willing to either turn a blind eye to the administration’s attacks on the First Amendment, or actively cheer these on.” The article notes that the Left has a First Amendment problem. It points to liberal (really Leftist) professors and college campuses around the country that have a big problem with conservative speakers. In spite of what they claim, the real motto of the Leftists is Free  speech for me, but not for thee. The true shallowness of their positions stands out in an honest debate and they realize that, so honest debate must be shut down. The “news” media, who have the same bosses as the Leftists on campus are more than happy to accommodate their Comrades in academia.

The article also observed: “Clinton ran  for president on a platform that included amending the Constitution specifically to ban criticism of her. She’s not alone. In 2014, every Democratic member of the Senate voted to overturn Citizens United by Amending the First Amendment to give Congress broad powers to suppress political speech through campaign finance reform.” Don’t recall the “news” media having a lot to say about that.

Another article on the same site for 2/15/18 said: “Half the country  wants to know why the press won’t cover the growing scandal now implicating the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice, and threatening to reach the State Department, Central Intelligence Agency, and perhaps even the Obama White House.”

The answer to that one is simple. Now that all this “Russian collusion with Trump” has proven to be nothing more than a bunny trail of gigantic proportions the real direction of actual Russian collusion has pointed at Hillary and her good buddies in the FBI, and  our  intrepid “news” media ain’t about to touch any of that  with a ten-foot pole. The public is not supposed to be aware of all that and the news media, so called, will try to keep us busy with other distractions so we pay no attention to the Hillary and Putin Uranium One Show (featuring Bill Clinton and his amazing half million dollar speech in Moscow)

So, folks, this is  what our “news” media is really all about–smoke and mirrors and make sure you don’t pull  that curtain back too far or you might actually see that nasty little man, George, that is running much of this machine and paying for what he can’t run himself.

We need to begin to realize that what the “news” media refuses to deal with is actually much more important than the frivolities  they spread in front of us to distract us from the real truth. To say that the mainstream media are liars would be charitable. Start checking out alternative media if you want to know what really goes on.

Google Loves Hillary

Google is supposed to be a legitimate search engine where you can look up material that has been posted in an unbiased manner. Somehow this mild description doesn’t seem to fit Google anymore. It would seem that Google has become just another engine of the Far Left to promote Hillary, no matter what. And this didn’t happen the day before yesterday.

According to an article posted on http://www.zerohedge.com that was written by Mac Slavo for SHTFplan.com Google is anything but unbiased and objective.

In fact, Mr. Slavo noted that: “Google was the Clinton campaign’s largest corporate contributor.  Google employees, including at least six high-ranking executives, donated more than $1.3 million to Clinton’s 2016 campaign.” Such numbers hardly indicate objectivity. What they indicate is a pro-Hillary bias that those who use Google need to be aware of when they  search Google for anything having to do with Hillary and her Deep State associates.

Slavo observed that: “New research shows just how much Google’s search manipulation  affects voters when making decisions. During the 2016 election, it was obvious that Google manipulated searches to favor Hillary Clinton while showing disproportionately negative stories about Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. And now we know just how effective all that had been, and it almost left us with Hillary as president.” That was the idea boys!

Mac Slavo stated that Hillary might have even lost by a bigger margin “had Google not manipulated the search results in her favor. Even trending negative searches about the corrupt Democrat were suppressed.”

Perhaps Slavo’s most telling statement was “The research showed that the manipulation of results pages in search engines can shift the voting preferences of undecideds by anywhere between 20 and 80 percent, depending  on the demographic–meaning Google was attempting to rig the 2016 election for Hillary Clinton.”

Think about that the next time you pick a search engine to look for something and think you are getting an objective list of views from Google. Depending on the subject of the search, you are getting only what Google wants you to get and what they would rather you didn’t see ends up down the memory hole.

They operate on the same principle as the publishers of public school “history” books do. Slavo feels that much of  the collusion during the 2016 election was “…not between Trump and the Russians, but was between tech giants and their propaganda scheme and the Hillary Clinton campaign.” Knowing the low way that Hillary and associates operate, can you really disagree???

Maybe that’s one of the reasons Hillary is still griping about the results of the election. All the crooked and devious schemes she and her friends pulled off didn’t work out when they should have and she’s wondering who screwed up where that caused her to lose.

The one variable that Hillary forgot to reckon with is that there is a Sovereign God in Heaven that is concerned with the affairs of men, and  no matter how much political clout she may think she has, she is  not about to get a “get  out oft jail free” card from Him. She needs to think about that. I doubt that she will, but she should.
