The BLM–Agenda 21’s Stooge In The West

by Al Benson Jr.

I have written about the United Nations Agenda 21 program in the past. It is the United Nations thinly veiled attempt at land-grabbing trying to hide under the very dubious cover of “sustainability.” Supposedly there are way too many people in the world (there aren’t) and the UN has to keep all the land “sustainable” by taking people off of it and herding them together in mega-ghettos and leaving untold millions of acres unpopulated and unused for guess who? The political commissars who thought all this up, that’s who. Private property and single family homes will be a thing of the past. You won’t need your cars because there will be no place to go when you are not allowed out of the city limits. Those of you who follow this sort of thing already know the drill.

However, in this country it seems there are lots of folks, most particularly in the West and the South, who put some value on private property, particularly if it has been in their  families for generations. And the Agenda 21 spooks need someone to be able to deal with that sticky situation. It seems, at least in the West, they have found their stooge of choice to help them divest people of their property–and no one is supposed to connect the dots between Agenda 21 and the Bureau of Land Management–an organization that has managed to make itself almost universally despised west of the Mississippi–and not without reason.

I recently read an article by Tim Brown, published on back on October 15, 2016. It quotes a Nevada assemblywoman, Michele Fiori, and she labels the Bureau of Land Management a “Domestic Terrorist Agency.” The article observes: “On Thursday morning, Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiori stood on the Nevada Assembly floor to point out several things regarding the Oregon occupation, the Bundy Ranch siege and the sheriffs who were involved in both. She also pointed out at the center of both of them was the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and she referred to them as one of several ‘Domestic Terrorist Agencies.’ I stand in support of and know that Blue Lives Matter…But there have been Sheriffs that hand their elected positions over to the Federal Government and some of the outcomes have been fatal. Sheriff David Ward of Harney County did just that. Under his watch a man, Lavoy Finicum, was murdered.” And she noted: “The Bureau of Land Management has become quite aggressive across our Nation,  from continual harassment of our indigenous Native Americans to our Ranchers, who are just trying to protect their livelihoods.” But the ranchers believe in  private property rights and that is becoming a no-no more and more.

Another article, this one by Michael Snyder on April 23, 2014 on pretty succinctly lays it all out. Mr. Snyder says “Why is the federal government so obsessed with grabbing more land? After all, the federal government already owns more than 40 percent of the land in 9 different U.S. states. Why are federal bureaucrats so determined to grab even more? Well, the truth is that this all becomes much clearer once you understand that there is a very twisted philosophy behind what they are doing. It is commonly known as Agenda 21, although many names and labels are used for this particular philosophoy. Basically, those that hold to this form of radical environmentalism believe that humanity is utterly destroying the planet and therefore the goal should be to create a world where literally everything that we do is tightly monitored and controlled by control freak bureaucrats in the name of ‘sustainable development.’ In their vision of the future, the human population will be greatly reduced and human activity will be limited to strictly regulated urban areas and travel corridors. The rest of the planet will be left to nature. To achieve this goal, a massive transfer of land from private landowners to the federal government will be necessary.” What do you think this will do to our ranchers and farmers in the West, or even here in Louisiana where I live?

And Snyder adds “So the conflict between rancher Cliven Bundy and the BLM is really just the tip of the iceberg. The reality is that the BLM has their eyes on much bigger prizes.” There was the BLM’s attempted land grab along the Texas-Oklahoma border back a few years ago.

Snyder noted that  the feds claim to own 84% of the state. In Utah they claim 57% of the state and in Alaska they claim 69%, and 53% in Oregon, to mention a few.

The federal government flat out doesn’t need any more land. They’ve got way too much as it is. But there is this constant obsession to grab more and more–so the dictates and agenda of Agenda 21 can be fulfilled. In fact, let’s be honest–they want it all and ranchers, farmers, miners, or folks that just want a little retirement place down on the bayou or out in country will just have to go. End of conversation! And besides they will be dispensing with lots of people with independent ideas–and that just won’t float in a UN-dominated environment.

So just remember, when the BLM comes along to wrest your land from you, who they are really working for, and brother, no matter what they say, it ain’t you!

Marxist Environmentalism

by Al Benson Jr.

That what we call today environmentalism or the environmentalist movement is a creature of the far left is beyond doubt. All you have to do is connect the dots and you never have to worry about any of them being on the right side of the page. And the United Nations is at the very heart of leftist environmentalism.

There was an article on on April 18, 2011 by Jonathan Wachtel which stated: “United Nations diplomats on Wednesday will set aside pressing issues of international peace and security to devote an entire day debating the rights of ‘Mother Earth.’ A bloc of mostly socialist government led by Bolivia have put the issue on the General Assembly agenda to discuss the creation of a U.N. treaty that would grant the same rights found in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to Mother Nature. Treaty supporters want the establishment of legal systems to maintain balance between human rights and what they perceive as the inalienable rights of other members of the Earth community—plants, animals, and terrain.” In other words, folks, rocks have rights, and if you dare violate the “rights” of any rock, boulder, stone or pebble, you just might be in big trouble with the U.N. Same goes for lizards, spiders, and other creeping wildlife! Or as someone so clearly stated: “Just to make sure we understand, human babies in the womb do NOT deserve human rights. But that tree over there, those bugs under that rock, do.” That about sums up the worldview of many in both the United Nations and the (dis)United States.

The goal of the Environmentalist Movement actually has been quite clearly stated by the U.N.’s Executive Secretary of the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, Christiana Figueres of Costa Rica. In an article by Burt Prelutsky on Ms. Figueres has, in a very straightforward manner noted that “the primary goal of environmentalists, of which she is one, is not to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. Go back and read that last line one more time. This lady is telling you what the environmentalist move really is all about! She doesn’t mince words. She says, right up front, as quoted on “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution. This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.” The website has headlined the article about this: “U.N. Official Reveals Real Reason Behind Warming Scare—Destruction Of Capitalism.” That’s an accurate headline. However, I doubt that your local evening “news” paper or your television network news program will ever mention anything about this. They wouldn’t dare. This is the sort of news they get paid to conceal, to pretend it doesn’t exist, it never happened, and if you should dare to have read enough to be able to quote this “lady” at the U.N., why then you are a “conspiracy theorist” because anyone who really knows what goes on just knows she didn’t really mean it the way it sounded. Problem is, she did. She meant it exactly the way it sounded, which shows that the ruling establishment in this country figures that, by now, our public “education” system has so dumbed us down that we won’t grasp the enormity of what was said. Sadly, in some cases, they may be right. I know some folks, some who are even Christians, hearing her statement and responding with a loud yawn as they wonder when the next “reality show” will show up on the tube.

I have always had my doubts about the global warming scam. I saw a statement just last night from some “news” source that said that this winter has, so far, been the second warmest on record. I thought to myself, who are you trying to kid? Both last year and so far this year we have had two of the coldest, most miserable winters here in the Deep South that we’ve had since we moved here and you are telling me this has been a warm winter! In fact, last year, when it got so cold here we actually had newscasters with the gall to tell us that the cold weather we were experiencing was caused by global warming. In other words it’s colder because it’s warmer! This sounds like logic that only a Yankee/Marxist could come up with!

One of the websites I checked out before doing this article had this comment: “For a moment the mask dropped, and the real face of Big Green could be seen. Is their goal a cooler, cleaner earth? No, it’s the destruction of capitalism. Future generations will consider efforts to control ‘climate change’ to have been political insanity.”

Does anyone remember the big fuss in England a few short years ago when the climate change people over there were caught “cooking the books” as it were in regard to global warming? After that little episode you didn’t hear much about global warming for almost a year. But, when they figured the furor had died down and folks had forgotten all about it, they started right up again with the same old global warming shell game. So we need to start asking ourselves—who controls those that are pushing the global warming agenda? And who will make money off the global warming agenda and who will be harmed by it?

They’ve already told us their intent is to destroy capitalism. What do they intend to replace it with? I don’t think you really want to know. Now I’m not a big fan of monopoly capitalism or crony capitalism, which is really a form of industrial fascism, but I think genuine free enterprise capitalism is a pretty good idea. It certainly has raised living standards in many places, here among them. So what are we going to replace capitalism with—a system where rocks and trees have “rights”? Rights for rocks and none for man? That’s where those people are really headed.

If you want to start connecting the dots, then go back to the first “Earth Day” back on April 22, 1970, which by the sheerest of coincidences, just happened to be the 100th anniversary of Lenin’s birth. Follow that down and you will see that the Environmental Movement has, since then, sought to regulate and control what industry did and even what went on in rural areas. Why the big fuss over the desert tortoise in Nevada or the medfly in California? All these so-called crises work against the productivity of capitalism and in doing that they put unreasonable controls on how someone may use his property. It may be in his name but the government will tell him what he can and can’t do with it. Then go read The Communist Manifesto where Marx says: “In this sense, the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property.” Or where he says “Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes; Abolition of all rights of inheritance; Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels;” or yet, in the face of the soon-coming regulation of the Internet “Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.” And the one they are accomplishing this all by, even in our day “Free education for all children in public schools…”

Years ago someone aptly labeled the environmentalists “The watermelon gang” because they were “green on the outside and Red inside.” The woman at the U.N. told us very plainly what the global warming scenario and the environmental movement as a whole was and is all about—the destruction of capitalism—and with it the destruction of our way of life in this country. Does that bother anyone—or will most just yawn again as they seek to tune in the next “reality show”?

A Mouse, a Mouse—My Kingdom For a Mouse—the Sagebrush Rebellion Continues

By Al Benson Jr.

We’ve all heard about the federal officers in Nevada trampling on the rights of Cliven Bundy and his family and trying to steal his cattle, while at the same time roughing up members of his family. Who knows what wonders those federalized thugs may have performed had there not been a bit of opposition to them on hand to protect the Bundy family. That situation is far from over. The BLM may have backed off for now, but if they don’t come back some other group of federalized thugs will—when they figure there are not too many witnesses around.

There has also been an incident in Recapture Canyon in Utah, not far from Blanding, where a group of citizens protested what they felt were severe restrictions on the use of public land. My wife and I have been through Blanding on several occasions. There is a state park there called Edge of the Cedars that has part of an old Indian ruin in it. We’ve stopped there a couple times. It makes you wonder if the various states where there are Indian ruins wouldn’t be better off if the state cared for the ruins instead of the feds doing it—but that would mean the states would have to control and possess the land the ruins were on and the feds wouldn’t like that—too much decentralization involved.

Now we have yet another situation, this one in Otero County, New Mexico. According to an article on for May 12th, written by Valerie Richardson: “A New Mexico county board on Monday instructed the local sheriff to open the Forest Service gates blocking thirsty cattle from reaching water, setting up a clash with federal agents over state water rights and endangered species. The Otero County Commission voted 2-0, with one commissioner absent, to ‘immediately take steps to remove or open gates that are unlawfully denying citizens access to their private property rights.” The article noted that this situation comes while ranchers and others in many places in the West complain about what they describe as the federal government’s tightening control over public land. In the neighborhood of 52% of the land in Western states is owned by the federal government. In other words, over half of the West still belongs to the feds even after statehood has been given to all the states there. State sovereignty in the West is a myth, folks. Since many of these states came into the “glorious Union” either during or after the War of Northern Aggression, it would seem that the feds were not going to allow a situation where the states out there had any real rights in regard to secession or anything else. They were going to make sure they stayed in control and that the new Western states remained mere vassals of an overreaching federal Empire in Washington.
This is the way empire’s work—giving the illusion of “freedom” but denying the real article.

The situation in New Mexico became alarming to the ranchers in Otero County this year when Forest Service officials would not open gates that allowed cattle to reach a creek in the Lincoln National Forest. When asked about it, rangers stated that they are “…trying to protest the riparian area, which is considered habitat for the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse.” Come June, this mouse is expected to be listed as an endangered species and this shutting down and listing would include something like 190 miles of “critical habitat in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico,…after a settlement with WildEarth Guardians in 2011.” So it seems like the feds are doing this because they had a “settlement” with this group. Did the group sue the federal government over the New Mexico jumping meadow mouse and the feds are doing their part by denying ranchers the right to water their cattle? Seems like this is the deal.

The ranchers argue that they own the water rights to the creek in Lincoln National Forest, and, according to New Mexico law they do. But since the creek is on “public” land they will be denied, even though they are part of the public. You see, with the feds, all of the public is equal but some, like these radical environmental groups, are more equal than others.

This group, WildEarth Guardians, has quite a track record. According to an article on for June 20, 2012 and written by Steffi Porter: “Between 2007 and 2011, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services gave $680,492 in tax money to the Wild Earth Guardians, according to the testimony of congress members partaking in the hearing. They said that the Wild Earth Guardians sued U.S. Fish and Wildlife 76 times.” This particular article had to do with another “endangered species” the sand dune lizard in Texas. Anyway, it seems that this and other leftist environmental groups make big bucks suing the federal government over “endangered species” and to settle these lawsuits, the feds just start shutting down all kinds of land that local folks need to survive. But who cares about the local folks anyway? They are only ordinary people, and the feds would really like to have them off the land anyway.

It would be much easier for them to begin to implement Agenda 21’s “Rewilding Project” in the West if they could just get the people off the land so the UN could turn the American West (and other places too) into one vast animal reserve, off limits to ordinary folks, but usable for the ruling elite.

There’s a lot going on with the federal “War on the West” that we haven’t been told about. The ranchers haven’t been told about all this either. They are just the victims at this point, but they need to begin to start researching to find out what is really going on and putting the pieces together. Marxist “reconstruction” is alive and well in the West, just like it is in the South, the North, all over. This government has declared war on its people and it will wage that war any way it has to, no matter how many people are injured, ruined, or become “collateral damage.”

Agenda 21 and Confederate Heritage

by Al Benson Jr.

There are many people in the Confederate and Southern Movement that know little or nothing about the United Nations and its agenda, and therefore
they pay no attention to what this pro-Marxist organization is doing. It seems
far removed from their concerns pertaining to their heritage and history and
so they just ignore it. Nothing could be further from the truth. I would urge my fellow Confederates to read the book The Fearful Master by G. Edward Griffin. It can be found on the Internet, so you don’t need to go out and buy another book. All you need to do it to be willing to take a little time and read this while sitting at your computer. You really need to read this book.

The United Nations has, in its varied far-left repertoire, a program called Agenda 21.. Most of you probably never heard of it, but, again, get on the Internet and check it out. The supposed rationale for this UN project is something the United Nations calls “economic sustainability.”

The UN plan to make countries more “economically sustainable” includes such projects as doing away with private property (this is a favorite among the Marxists). Another part of the Agenda 21 program calls for doing away with single family homes, cutting down on the use of air conditioning, severely limiting the use of private transportation, forcing people to move into more densely populated areas, and to live in high-rise apartment buildings. According to the UN, all this will supposedly help us to be more “economically sustainable.” It will also decrease our liberty, take our property, and limit how much and how far we are able to travel. If you think all this sounds just great, then sit back and do nothing but cheer the UN on and it will happen. If you think such could “never happen in America” then sit back and watch it happen and then complain because “no one told me.”

Consider this article to be your open invitation to get out there on the Internet (while you still have it) and so some homework and find out what is really going on. You probably won’t like what you find but you do need to be aware. If you think it all sounds too “negative” then just go back to sleep. The UN will wake you when they come for your private property and it will be a rather rude awakening.

As for how this will affect your efforts in behalf of Confederate heritage, ask yourself a couple questions. How will you fly our Confederate Battle Flag or your First National if you don’t own a flagpole to run it up on or the private property to be able to do that? Will you just hang your Battle Flag outside the window of your 15th floor apartment in your nice, new UN apartment building? I doubt that will be allowed. And don’t expect to be allowed to put any Confederate bumper stickers on the government-owned vehicle that you are forced to ride to work in daily. That nice retirement home you wanted to build out on the bayou, forget that! Definitely not economically sustainable!

Needless to say, the current Marxist administration in Washington has endorsed this program most enthusiastically.

If you think you now have problems with the local public school or the local city council over Confederate symbols, just wait until the UN gets involved and your Confederate flags and symbols will be forbidden just as they were in the South during the first phase of “reconstruction.”

Folks, you need to wake up and begin doing the homework before it’s too late. I believe the John Birch Society has put out a new DVD on Agenda 21. You should also check into this.
