What Goes On Today In Public Schools Is Not Stupidity–It Was Planned That Way By The Messiahs Of “Education”

Recently I read an article on http://www.newswithviews.com by Pastor Roger Anghis. He commented about much of the educational fertilizer being spread abroad in public schools, and he was correct There was only one place I disagreed with him. He noted that “We are seeing stupidity reign in our seats of power. Things that you would never even think about fifty years ago are gong mainstream now.” I maintain that this is not a result of stupidity. It has been planned that way. It is all on purpose. Those people now promoting what goes on, at least most of them, know full well what they are doing and why.

Pastor Anghis observed, and correctly so, that “The absolute perversion in our schools, with drag shows and porn in the libraries, and the character of the teachers that…are allowed to teach our kids is appalling…Our teacher’s unions have taken the stand that parents have no right to determine what children learn…”

The idea there is that, at bottom, the kids really belong to the state and parents are only the surrogates that the state lets help them in raising the state’s children. Sorry to say, but this is not a new concept. I’ve been studying, and writing for over fifty years now, and I can remember that idea being put forth by public educrats over fifty years ago now–and it wasn’t new then! It really stretches back, in some form, into the late 1800s, when a few states made it a crime for parents to criticize their kid’s teachers in the presence of the kids! The idea back then was, though not explicitly stated, that the teacher’s word was law instead of what Mom or Dad said.

All they’ve done now is to take it to a higher level. The educrat’s agenda would have been, fifty years ago, what it is today if they felt they could have gotten away with it. But they were astute enough to know parents would not have stood for it, so they bided their time, two generations of it, all the while working to radicalize the students in those two generations. And while they weren’t completely successful, they felt they had made enough progress so that they can promote the educational offal they are currently turning out.

They tried promoting this educational tripe in Kanawha County, West Virginia back in 1974-75, and the parents revolted against it. It went over like the proverbial lead balloon. I wonder if the parents would turn out now to resist it in the numbers they did back then–almost fifty years ago. And I don’t say that to knock West Virginians by any means. I think the West Virginia situation was a public school experiment to see how much they could get away with, how much the parents would put up with. Once they figured that out, they knew how to plan for a more radical plan for public school kids. Once they found out, they could adjust their schedules accordingly.

If you wonder today why so many kids hate their country, look no further than what they were taught in public school history and economics classes. Look at the obvious leftist slant of some of the teachers picked up in the leftist colleges they attended, or even worse, in some of the schools they went to high school in! Much of what passes for “history” in high schools anymore is little short of overt leftist propaganda. I’ve seen quotes from some public school teachers that would cause Karl Marx to blush! And, no, I am not indicting all public school teachers. I’ve known a few good ones, but there are those among their number that are bad news for the kids they indoctrinate (not educate).

I read an article on http://www.americanvision.org for 11/2/2020. In it, the late Gary North said of a book by theologian R. J. Rushdoony, The Messianic Character of American Education that “The philosophy of the statists who designed American public schools was messianistic…goes through the primary sources of three dozen of these social experiments …These men were open about what they were attempting to do: reform the American people and American society through tax-funded education. They disagreed with each other on pedagogical methods, but they were united in their argument that the state, not parents, should be in charge of the education of all children. The state would then become the redeeming agent of society. It would replace church and family as agents of redemption.” And the public school was to be the seminary for this statist “redemption” in open (now) competition with the church. This is nothing more than a breaking of the Commandment “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Public education was to be the state’s attempt to create a god in its own image.

Once Christians can grasp and understand this, there is no reason for them to support public education any longer–in fact they should separate from it and find other methods to educate their children. The public school is a competing deity, a false god that cannot save, only destroy. All you have to do to grasp that is to look where it came from (Unitarianism and socialism) and look where it has taken our children up to and including now!

The Great Unanswered Question

I and others have asked this question for years now and have yet to even have that acknowledged. Many of us will continued to ask it until we get some sort of answer from the politically correct minions of the viewpoint that the War of Northern Aggression was fought to end slavery. If the War was fought to end slavery then why did the North not start by abolishing slavery in those states that ended up remaining in the Union, some through no fault of their own.

There were four slave states that ended up in the Union–Kentucky, Missouri, Maryland, and Delaware–and when West Virginia seceded from Virginia and ended up back in the Union it did so as a slave state. So that would have been five states in the Union where slavery could have been abolished if that had been the real reason for the War. Yet that didn’t happen. So we have to conclude that because it didn’t happen the real reason for the war was not freeing the slaves but something else.

The tariff question naturally comes to mind, due to the fact that the South paid over 80% of the tariffs for the entire country while the North got most of the benefit from that. The North would have been in pretty sad financial shape without the South to foot most of the bill for all the internal improvements made up north. But the politically correct don’t even want to discuss this. The tariff issue is a “dead letter” to them, meaning they can’t get any traction from that issue to promote their racist agenda to blame the South for slavery. So tariffs are ignored and the slavery issue played up to inflame the passions of black folks who are much better off in this country than they would be had their ancestors remained in Africa. It’s a classic “divide and conquer strategy” to separate the races and prevent them having an honest dialogue with one another. Were they to get together and talk, they would soon discover that the Deep State is screwing everybody in this country and the Establishment can’t have that.

Gene Kizer Jr. in his authoritative book Slavery Was Not the Cause of the War Between the States has observed that: “Clearly the North did not instigate a war to end slavery. The focus on slavery as the primary cause of the War Between the States–even indirectly–is a fraud of biblical proportions and it prevents real understanding of American history. Pulitzer Prize winning historian and Lincoln scholar David H. Donald, back in the 1960s, was concerned about the overemphasis of slavery asthe cause of the war. He said the Civil Rights Movement seems to have been the reason for stressing slavery as the cause of the war.”

Given the origins of the Civil Rights Movement that would not be surprising. Years ago now, journalist Alan Stang wrote a book called It’s Very Simple–The True Story of Civil Rights. In that book Mr. Stang delved into the leftist credentials of many in the Civil Rights Movement. Some have concluded that Lincoln didn’t have the authority to free any slaves in the Union states which is probably true. Well if he had no authority to free slaves in the Union, where in heaven’s name did he get the “authority” to free them in the Confederate States??? Lots of questions that need to be answered here and yet the politically correct and minions of Wokeism continue to ignore them because they realize they have no answers that make any kind of sense. So they continue to rant and rail about the War being fought to “end slavery” when they know all that is so much bovine fertilizer. Their fondest hope is that you don’t realize the fertilizer content of their absurdities.

Weaponized “Justice” System Attacked Parents On Behalf Of Public Schools

There was an informative article in the New American Magazine for April 24th which shows where public education is really coming from. The article noted: “According to the interim report released on March 21 by the House Committee on the Judiciary and its Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, there is more than enough evidence to prove that the National School Boards Association (NSBA) working in coordination with the Biden administration, created out of whole cloth the pressing need for federal investigation of parents. Twenty-five of those parents were investigated, but not a single charge was brought, indicating that the entire outrage was ‘manufactured’ with no ‘legitimate basis,’ according to the committee…”

In other words, the entire scenario was an exercise in shutting down parental dissent in regard to what was going on in pubic schools. The article continued: “Viola Garcia and Chip Slaven, president and CEO of NSBA, respectively, signed a letter to the White House stating, ‘America’s public schools and its education leaders are under an immediate threat. The National School Boards Association…respectfully asks for federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation…NSBA believes immediate assistance is required.”

It only took Biden’s puppet Attorney General five days to issue orders that directed the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Offices to meet in the next 30 days to talk about plans for dealing with this horrific trend–the trend of weaponizing those agencies under his royal command to begin harassing citizens whose only crime was expressing their First Amendment rights. You see, if you dare to attack what goes on in public schools you are automatically a domestic terrorist and need to be silenced.

The public school establishment would like to add another commandment to the original ten that the Lord gave on Mt. Sinai. And their new commandment is: “Thou shalt not, in anywise, complain about anything implemented by the public school system in regard to what it does to your children.” To do such is an act of terrorism against the public school establishment and will not be tolerated! Your children, after all, are the property of the state to “educate” in a manner the state deems appropriate! That about sums up where the public schools are really at.

This may sound extreme to some who have done no homework about the history of public education in America and who think public schools, overall, are pretty good. But if public schools today are so good, why are they so terrified of parental complaints? It’s because they realize that what they are doing to our kids is not something most parents would go along with and they want to stifle parental dissent before it grows to the point where they can no longer ignore it.

Interestingly, puppet Attorney General Garland has been asked to remove his weaponization letter regarding parents as domestic terrorists. He refuses to do so! So, if you are a parent who complains about the public schools radicalizing your kids you will remain a domestic terrorist! It’s time to quit complaining about what the public schools are doing to your kids and start getting your kids out of public schools! There are more than enough educational alternatives out there now that parents do not need to leave their kids in public indoctrination centers they still mistakenly refer to as schools!

Neutralizing Christians!

That old saying “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing” is more true today than at anytime in our history. And it seems that in the Christian Church (all denominations) we have more and more good men willing to do absolutely nothing at all to combat what is plainly evil.

Thee Christian Church has been mostly neutralized, starting with the Scofield Bible heresy and continuing on from there. There are a few good Christians here and there that still seek to combat evil, but bye and large, the Church as been put to sleep-and too many good men just don’t want to hear about anything “negative” or evil because if they knew some of what went on they might have to rise up and do something about it and that just takes too much effort that they no longer feel is worth the effort. They have been programmed to try to “snatch a few brands from the burning” and otherwise to let this world go to hell because it ain’t worth saving. Needless to say, I disagree with them, but that’s where many are and they’re not about to budge from that position. After all, the “rapture” is coming to take them out of this mess, so why bother!

I have known Christians that got ticked off at me because I pointed out some of the evil they did not care to be confronted with. I knew one man that, if I pointed out bad things going on he would say “I’m in complete agreement with you, but don’t you believe the Lord is in control?” The Lord being in control was his excuse for not doing anything about the evil .I have never felt the Lord wasn’t in control of it all, but I often feel that the Lord wants to control the evil through the efforts of His people–and too many of His people ain’t having any of that! No letters to the editor of a local paper or to your Congress critters about bad situations. Just not worth the effort!

Another man I knew never wanted to be told about anything “negative!” Everything always had to be “positive.” Sorry folks, but that’s not how the real world works–that’s the way a fairy tale world works! And while positive stuff is nice, you can’t just ignore the evil at work in the world and only focus on the positive.

Now admittedly, in my writing, I usually focus on lots of bad things that I have become aware of over the years. If I ignored the negatives and only accented the positives, I could not live with myself! I feel Scripture requires us to oppose evil that we might point to what the Lord expects us to do. Ignoring evil because we don’t want to have to deal with it doesn’t cut the mustard–anymore than leaving your kids in public school so they can be a “witness” to the system does! It’s a cop out! An excuse for not doing anything when we should be doing something .Not only have we become neutralized, we’ve become lazy! Neutrality (lukewarmness) has turned us into spiritual mugwumps–with our mugs on one side of the fence and our wumps planted firmly on the other side–good fence straddlers!

We should wonder how many of the ills in this country could be slowed down or even reversed if Christians just got off their couches of ease and got involved! How many “positive” things could be accomplished with more Christian input? I have a good friend up north who told me years ago that “Christians will flee responsibility like they would the plague.” I fear, at this point in history, he may be right!

You Americans Don’t Deserve No Stinkin’ Heritage Preservation!

Well, it’s now official, from a leftist shill in the Harris/Biden Regime, any American seeking to preserve his or her cultural heritage is a potential Nazi!

According to an article for July 17th on https://www.informationliberation.com by Chris Menahan that is now the new line. The articles observes: “Samantha Vinograd, the Department of Homeland Security’s new acting assistant secretary for counterterrorism and threat prevention in the office of Strategy, Policy and Plans is a former CNN analyst who said the idea of American trying to preserve their heritage makes her ‘sick’. While appearing on CNN in March 2019 Vinograd slammed President Trump for giving a speech at CPAC about the importance of preserving our heritage.”

She said “Preserving your heritage, reclaiming our heritage, that sounds a lot like a certain leader that killed members of my family and about six million other Jews in the 1940s.” It would seem that Vinograd cares about her own family’s heritage but doesn’t give a tinker’s damn for yours. Are you Southern Heritage folks paying attention here? You should be. This woman is telling you that you are a potential Nazi if you care about your heritage, history and culture. Yours doesn’t matter. Hers does! Do you get the message? Her type of individual is what the Harris/Biden Regime thrives on and what they will, at some point, use to seek to deprive you of your right to try to preserve your heritage and culture.

Up to this point they have sought to discredit us by tearing down or monuments and removing our flags and telling everyone stupid enough to listen to them that our ancestors fought a war to preserve their right to keep slaves. That was a monstrous lie, but they got enough “useful idiots” to believe it to make things difficult for us. And they have “educated” enough of our own folks in their public brain laundries to believe that “it can never happen here” in regard to the destruction of our liberties and our culture. But it is happening and many of us have not got the sense to realize that. I hope these folks wake up before it is too late, but I am not optimistic at this point.

Too many of our Southern folks seem to believe they can promote their Southern heritage by watching the NASCAR races and they don’t have to do anything else. I hate to disillusion you all, but it will take a lot more than that. You will have to learn to work to preserve and promote your heritage. That means getting on the internet ,doing some homework, finding out what the historical issues are and why your heritage and culture are worth preserving.

Think about it this way—if your heritage and culture were not worth preserving then the leftists would not be out there trying to destroy them. The enemies of your history and culture are all over there on the political and theological left. Destroying Southern history and culture is a major tenet of their religious faith. Ask yourself if, with your Christian faith, you are willing to work to undercut their false religion and their wrong political conclusions. If you are not, then you have lost your culture already but don’t realize it yet. You may, at some point, but then it may be too late.

The vast majority of your Confederate ancestors did not fight to preserve slavery. They fought because their states were invaded and their rights were being taken away (and I am not talking about the right to own slaves).

It seems that the Harris/Biden Regime plans to go after anyone who strives to preserve their history and heritage, paint them all as Nazis, and then destroy their history, heritage and culture. The question is–are you willing to put up with that?

Critical Race Theory Is The New Holy Writ For Public Schools

For you Christian (and also other) parents who still think your local public school is still okay for your kids I have to further burst your bubble in the hope of waking at least some of you all up.

I will quote from an article on https://www.thegatewaypundit.com for July 5, 2021. The headline for this article states More than 5,000 Woke Teachers Sign Pledge to Teach CRT ‘Regardless of the Law’. The article says, in part “Throughout much of 2021, conservatives, in both classrooms and in the halls of state legislatures have been fighting back against the pervasive influence of critical race theory in public schools. Laws banning the instruction of CRT tenets in public schools have passed in more than 20 states, and there is reason to hope that the tide is beginning to turn in the fight for the country’s history and principles.” I wish I could agree with the latter part of his statement, but I am unable to.

He then notes the Zinn Education Project “that refuses to accept defeat, and desires to teach American children that this country was founded upon the ‘disposition of Native Americans, slavery, structural racism and oppression.” He also observes that “The organization is named for Howard Zinn, a socialist activist and ‘historian’ who wrote A Peoples History of the United States’ a left-wing propaganda pamphlet disguised as a textb0ok that has made its way into history classes all across the country.” So whatever else comes down the pike, you have to realize that Zinn’s book is already here and in use.

The article continues “Now the ZPE is circulating a ‘Pledge to Teach the Truth’ which identifies left-wing methods of analysis like critical race theory as ‘the truth’ and decrees that the signees–all of whom are educators–refuse to be ‘bullied” into compliance with the law.” In other words, these “teachers” who are really nothing more than change agents, are going to teach what they darn well please–no matter what their state laws say. We are told that, so far, there are more than 5,000 teachers in all 50 states that have signed on to do this. And I would be willing to bet that the vast majority of them teach in public schools. So, if you think your kids are “safe” from leftist propaganda tactics in public school because your state has a law against them on the books let me tell you that this is probably not the case–unless your state legislators show some guts on this issue. Even then the outcome is questionable.

Why are the kids not safe with a law on the books that prevents teaching critical race theory you ask. I will quote the headline from another Gateway Pundit article, this one for Independence Day, July 4th. How ironic! This one says Nation’s Largest Teachers Union Approves Plan to Promote Hate-Based Critical Race Theory in All 50 States and 14000 School Districts. The teachers union the article is talking about is The National Education Association, which most public school teachers belong to. Not all, but most. The NEA calls critical race theory “reasonable and appropriate.” They’ve got to be kidding, right? Well, actually, they are not. For a leftist teachers union, critical race theory is very appropriate as it helps to spread the leftist agenda in public school classrooms nationwide.

This is the kind of thing naive parents do not comprehend when they go to school board meetings. A school board meeting in Loudon County, Virginia was recently shut down when parents had the gall to complain about some of the crap their kids were being taught in public schools there. The parents didn’t like what was going on and the school board did not want to hear their legitimate complaints so they shut the meeting down. What this means is that the school board in Loudon Country will do what it damn well pleases and the parents will have no say!

This sort of thing is going on all across the country and still parents continue to funnel their children in to these public brain laundries we are still foolish enough to refer to as “schools.” I am not indicting all public school teachers here. There are still some good ones, but they are part of a shrinking minority–not representative of the public school’s real mission–propagandizing the students with an extreme left-wing bias.

Parents, especially Christian parents need to wake up to this fact and start removing their kids from these schools. I have noted statistics from several states showing public school enrollment is dropping–but not enough! More parents need to begin to get the message, to wake up and smell the coffee. The children they save may well be their own–but they need to get those kids out of the public schools asap.

When a Communist Was the Assistant Secretary of War

Many may look at the title of this article and complain that “this has never happened in this country.” Sorry to disappoint you, but it has–and it wasn’t in the 20th century when we had a carefully orchestrated “Cold War.” It was in the 19th century, back when they try to tell us that communism didn’t exist here. They lied to us. It did exist here, but we are not supposed to realize that fact. It doesn’t bode well for the fake historians.

The man this article is about was not a Communist Party member. But he was a communist in this worldview and he ardently supported what they were doing.

By now, those of you that have followed history know who I am writing about–Charles Anderson Dana–the assistant secretary of war under Edwin M. Stanton in the Lincoln administration. Dana was a promoter of the communist worldview going back to the days before the socialist revolts in Europe in 1848.

An interesting article on https://djdnotice.blogspot.com for October 1, 2014 said of Dana that: “Brigadier General Joseph Weydemeyer of the Union Army was a close friend of Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels in the London Communist League (Assistant Secretary of War Charles A. Dana, close friend of Marx, published with Joseph Weydemeyer a number of Communist journals and also ‘The Communist Manifesto,’ commissioned by Karl Marx. As a member of the Communist/Socialist Fourier Society in America, Dana was well acquainted with Marx and Marx’s colleague in Communism, Fredrick Engels. Dana, also, was a friend of all Marxists in the Republican Party, offering assistance to them almost upon their arrival on the American continent.) So there were Marxists in the early Republican Party. Reading most of our current “historians” who would’ve guessed?

Dana was also an author of some note (all the better to propagandize you, my dear). He is reported to have written a book Stanton’s Reporter: Charles A. Dana in the Civil War. He also wrote Proudhon and His Bank of the People,: Being a Defence of the Great French Anarchist,… There’s more to the title but I am not going to print the rest out here. It’s long enough for a short paragraph.

Another book mentioned in the research I located was written by Carl J. Guarneri and is called Lincoln’s Informer: Charles A. Dana and the Inside Story of the Union War. I don’t know where this author is coming from but his book shows there is still interest in Dana. The book Horace Greeley And Other Pioneers of American Socialism by Charles Sotheran notes, on page 291 that “Horace Greeley selected the best managing editor the Tribune ever had, from among the Brook Farm Socialists. This was Charles Anderson Dana, the present editor of the New York Sun. For those who may not know, Brook Farm was a socialist experiment in communistic living that eventually went belly-up as most socialist experiments do. It has been described as a “Unitarian, Humanitarian, and Socialistic experiment.”

Arthur Thompson in his informative book To The Victors Go The Myths And Monuments has noted on page 198 of that book that: “Charles Dana was a vice president of the National Convention of Associations. He was a member of the Proudhonian Club, nicknames the 48ers of America, composed mainly of Americans who had participated in the revolution of 1848-49 in Europe. In 1848 he spent eight months in Europe covering the revolutions for the New York Tribune, and he shared Marx’s views. Dana wrote that the purpose of the uprisings was ‘not simply to change the form of government, but to change for form of society.’ He did more than report. Dana is but one example of reporters who participated in revolutionary activities and then posed as impartial observers…This has long been a tactic of the Left, and continues to this day.” In other words, Charles Dana was part of the 19th century’s “Fake News” media. And let us never forget that it was him who hired Karl Marx to write for Greeley’s newspaper.

So here we have Charles A. Dana, writer, socialist revolutionary, and eventually Assistant Secretary of War under Edwin Stanton. And if you think Stanton was not aware of all this then you gravely underestimate Mr. Stanton. He knew! As sharp and shrewd as Stanton was he would have known all of this and still he pegged Dana as his chief informant. That should tell you something about Stanton as well as Dana. Dana was the perfect example of communist infiltration of the US government in the 19th century. We had plenty of that in the 20th century. I begin to wonder how much the 20th century infiltrators learned from Charles A. Dana.

U. S. “News” Media–Bought and Paid For by Red China

How many of you all still think the American mainstream “news” media only presents honest, objective news to its poor audiences? Not too many, I hope. If you still labor under that delusion what I present here will really ruin your day. This is not news to those that understand what goes on in this country. It is just under-reported news.

The article I will quote from here goes all the way back to 1/2/21. It is an article by Judith Bergman entitled China: Paying US Media to Publish Propaganda. It can be found at https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/16865/china-propaganda-us-,media and it i definitely worth the read.

It says, in part, “In June, China Daily filed a disclosure with the Justice Department showing that, since November 2016, it had paid $19 million to U.S. media outlets, including $12 million to newspapers such as the Washington Post and New York Times.”

The article also notes: “The practice does not seem to have caused any sort of actual uproar in the media circles that engage in it… This reticence is odd… but because so many journalists and editors consider themselves as standing up against racism, ethnic and religious discrimination, and human rights abuses. Taking money from the Chinese Communist regime in exchange for spreading its propaganda would seem to indicate that this stance is simply empty posturing.” She is right on the money here. Much of what these mainstream “news” mavens do is empty posturing to fool the reading public–and what’s more–they know it.

China Daily is an English language newspaper that has, reportedly, been registered as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) since 1983. That being the case it is supposed to report all its financial dealings and its activities in this country to the Justice Department–which does not really seem to care whether it posts communist propaganda in this country or not. Other newspapers that received Communist financial goodies were the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Seawttle Times, Houston Chronicle and Foreign Policy.

The article also observed that the “Wall Street Journal’s “China Watch” for example, has published a number of articles promoting China’s handling of the pandemic,…and a number of articles criticizing the US for its questioning of China’s handling of the pandemic…” Naturally, these articles were critical of Trump for daring to question what China had done and the way they did it regarding the pandemic. That’s not allowed in this country–even by a president.

The Communist dictator, Xi Jinping said: “China needs to strengthen media coverage…and use innovative outreach methods…to tell a good Chinese story and promote China’s views internationally” especially in the United States! And if doing that causes the Chinese Communists to pay US media outlets to print their propaganda, hey, no problem! For Communists the end always justifies the means.

These articles prove that the mainstream media is this country really is The prostitute press–in bed with the Chinese Communists for money. How many of these Red Chinese propaganda articles are printed in US papers in such a way that they seem to be real news instead of adds? From what I have read it seems that most folks can’t tell the difference–and so Communist propaganda is often presented by the mainstream media pretending to be news when it isn’t. But these papers don’t really care. They got the money for what they are doing–compliments of the Chinese Communist party!

Personally, I would accept nothing and I mean nothing, published by the mainstream media as real news. Real news is not their line of work. Peddling Marxist propaganda for financial favors is. They really are The Prostitute Press.

Critical Race Theory and The Local Public School

In March of 2021 writer Christopher F. Rufo did an article for Hillsdale Colleges’ publication Imprimis in which he dealt with Critical Race Theory and its origins. I can’t deal with it all here. It is long and informative and you may be able to find it on the internet–if it hasn’t been censored off by now. For my purposes here I will give you a brief quote. Mr. Rufo noted that: “Critical race theory is an academic discipline, formulated in the 1990s, built on the intellectual framework of identity-based Marxism. Relegated for many years to universities and obscure academic journals, over the past decade it has increasingly become the default ideology in our public institutions.” One of those public institutions is the public school system and Critical Race Theory is, regardless of what some try to tell us, alive and unfortunately well in our public school systems in America.

I read an article for May 24th on https://www.thegatewaypundit.com which observed: “In Cherokee County, Georgia there was a grassroots victory at the school board level as concerned parents convinced their elected school board members, on the spot, to prohibit the implementation of Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project based on their concerns. .According to (a) reader, interest in the topic of CRT and the 1619 project was intense and concerned citizens overfilled the building where the school board meeting was held and many had to be out in the parking lot:..The school board voted 4-1, with two abstentions to approve a resolution to prohibit implementation of critical race theory and the 1619 Project..from being taught in Cherokee schools. Groups of concerned parents , teachers, students, and other concerned citizens around the country are organizing similar resistance to the Marxist teaching style and learning aids called CRT, with lobbying efforts at their school board and local government levels, seeking similar resolutions to have it banned from public schools.”

Now, let me ask a question here–have any of you older folks ever seen a situation similar to this? To some of us who have lived in West Virginia, this is a carbon copy of the beginning of the Kanawha County Textbook Protest that took place in that county in West Virginia during the mid-to-late 1970s. The Kanawha County school board, with the exception of the one honest lady on it, Alice Moore, tried to foist off a set of really raunchy textbooks on the students in that county. The parents in Kanawha County protested, picketed the schools, marched, and contacted their political leadership at the state and local levels–and no one could, or would, help them. And there was no help forthcoming at the federal level because it is the federal level that is responsible for what your kids are spoon-fed at the local level. Anyone trying to tell you different is either naive or a liar. Everything in public schools is filtered through the grid of the federal Department of Education, except maybe the times the kids are allowed to have recess. Local control of public education is a vaunted myth that should have died out after the feds put down the textbook revolt in West Virginia , using whatever methods they needed to.

So I will say this to the good folks in Cherokee County, Georgia. You have put off the implementation of Critical Race Theory in your public schools–for now! However, if you don’t keep your eye on your local school board, and think you have won this fight for good and all, then somewhere down the road, this “educational” Marxist construct will resurface once the parents quit watching out for it. It may come back with a different name to throw parents off track but it will be back–just as sure as the turning of the earth!

In order to prevent your kids from again facing the probability of being subjected to this Marxist drivel posing as education you would be better advised to remove your kids, if at all possible, from the public school system and either find a good Christian school or teach them at home. For those willing to make the sacrifice this can be done. It means learning to accept the responsibility for your own kids’ education rather than leaving the job up to local school educrats who may or may not have your kids’ best interest at heart. This is not a blanket indictment of all who teach or have taught in public school. We have a niece who teaches in one. Rather it is a warming to be alert because there are many in the educational bureaucracy at all levels who view your kids as cannon fodder to the leftist propaganda they intend to shove down their throats as part of the destruction of your culture and history.

Christian parents especially need to hear this, but I fear not many of them will listen. A lot I know never did and they were anxious to even avoid this discussion. Being forewarned, however, is to work toward being forearmed. To all but leftist parents–understand this-the public school system ain’t your friend–it is the culture destroyer of your heritage.

Critical Race Theory and “Woke” Evangelicals

I can recall, back in the 1980s, which seems like ancient history now, that one of the evangelical authors that got lots of attention was Os Guinness. Evangelicals raved about his work. At that point I had not read much of what he wrote. At that point he seemed rather apolitical to me and that seemed to be what evangelicals back then liked–someone that was either apolitical or leaned slightly to the left. It was considered in some evangelical circles to be rather avant-garde to lean to the left politically. What many evangelicals did not seem to realize was that all politics is, at root, theological and that politics is only someone’s outworking of his theology. Therefore, if your politics leaned to the left, so did your theology.

Many evangelicals, even today, still have not figured this out.

I have wondered if the evangelicals who loved Os Guinness back in the 80s would still love him today, but I have doubts about that due to a column on https://www.wnd.com/2021/05/evil-critical-race.theory written by Art Moore. Mr. Moore says: “One year ago, few Americans outside of higher education had heard of Critical Race Theory, which contends the concept of race is not biological but rather a culturally invented category designed by white people to oppress people of color. Now, having leaked from its academic lab, CRT is spreading exponentially to school boards, corporate offices the military and governmental agencies…But it’s urgent that citizens of this nation realize that CRT is not merely ‘erroneous teaching’ and that the ‘leak’ was no accident, warns Os Guinness, an Oxford-educated scholar with an unusual cultural and political vantage point. Born to Christian medical missionaries in China where he was a witness of Mao’s communist revolution, Guinness contents that CRT is part of an intentional, systematic, revolutionary movement in America stretching back to the 1930s that intends to replace this unique experiment in ordered liberty with a system responsible for the deaths of more than 100 million people in the 20th century…The so-called ‘cancel culture’ and Critical Race Theory are ‘the fruit’ of what has been described as the ‘long march through the institutions’ and ‘the triumph of cultural Marxism, or neo-Marxism,’ Guinness said in an interview with Eric Metaxas.”

And Moore observed that “Guinness noted that the term ‘long march through the institutions’ was coined by communist student activist Rudi Dutschke in the 1960s. It was popularized by German-American Marxist scholar Herbert Marcuse of the so-called Frankfurt school of critical theory in his 1972 book Counterrevolution and Revolt.”

So this entire thing we have been fed is a communist construct. Moore noted that “The sexual revolution and cultural Marxism, Guinness told Metaxas, are ‘the heirs of the French Revolution.” And Guinness tells us “The tragedy is today we’re switching from the American Revolution to the heirs of the French Revolution, and that switch is disastrous.” Guinness is right on the money here.

Moore noted: “Guinness, a British citizen who has lived in the United States since 1968, said that many evangelical leaders are ‘incredibly naive’ about what is happening today because they don’t see the big picture. He recalled the many Zoom calls with evangelical pastors in which he has participated amid the cultural upheaval following the death of George Floyd. Many of these pastors speak of ‘social justice’ Guinness said, without understanding they have ‘drunk the kool aid’ of cultural Marxism.”

Guinness tells us that “The way of the cultural Marxist, the radical left, is only power, and it makes the problem worse, not better.” Those that understand Marxism know that this is intentional. not coincidental.

As I worked over this article, the thought came to me–where were the Christians when all this has been happening? Sad to say, they were probably out to lunch–a long, prolonged lunch, which is probably where they drank the kool aid of cultural Marxism!

Unless evangelical pastors start waking up to what’s going on and warning their congregations about all this the future of the church in our day is bleak indeed. I know the Lord will win the victory in the end, but I think he wants to use His people to help win that victory. If His people have been put to sleep with cultural Marxist kool aid that victory may take longer than it otherwise would have.
