Chicago Public Schools–A microcosm of our national problem

Watching Fox News last evening (4/13) Tucker Carlson commented on the sorry situation in Chicago Public Schools. Tucker noted that lots of Chicago public school students can’t read, or can barely read, yet you can’t fail them. Why think of what they would do to their self-esteem! Lots of us have been saying for years now that public school students across the country have been taught almost nothing worthwhile, yet have been conditioned to think they are brilliant. Why any parent in Chicago, or anywhere else, would trust their children’s education to the public schools is beyond me.

A little homework on the internet should convince any thinking parent that the public school system is one gigantic indoctrination center, with real education having little or nothing to do with it. The public school system has a history of leftist indoctrination that extends back into the 1800s. Not only that, but the system is corrupt and will brook no interference from parents about what is being taught.

An article on https://wirepoints.org for 9/27/22 observed that: “The arguments for tearing apart Chicago Public Schools and replacing it with a universal choice program continue to pile higher. The system is an abject failure any way you cut it. Families are fleeing in record numbers as another 9,000 students left the district this school year. In all, student enrollment has dropped by 120,000 over the last two decades.” Chicago public schools spend $29,000 per student as outcomes plummet and enrollment continues to drop! It would seem that lots of parents in Chicago have at least some idea of what the game is–and it ain’t real education for their kids! It’s a con game that has little or nothing to do with real education.

Another article on https://chicago.chalkbeat.org for 1/5/23 noted that: “Chicago Public Schools watchdog is raising red flags about sharply increasing extra pay for school staff in recent years, rising sexual misconduct complaints, and a troubling practice of schools mislabeling students as transfers when they’re missing school. The district’s Office of Inspector General detailed these and dozens of other instances of fraud, misconduct and wrongdoing in a sweeping 120 page annual report released Thursday.” Sounds as if Chicago has a corrupt public school system and problem. Lest you think this public school problem exists only in Chicago, I also noted last evening a report about Loudon County, Virginia that noted they will soon be introducing unisex bathrooms in public schools. Just what the kids need! Virginia’s new governor, now outed as a disciple of Klaus Schwab, is supposed to be doing something about this kind of junk being foisted on public school kids. Will he? Don’t hold your breath waiting!

I have no idea what it will take to wake Christian parents up to the fact that they need to jettison the public school system. Thousands have. Many, many more need to. I wonder if we will ever get enough Christian kids out of public schools to turn things around and help save this country. Unless more Christians wake up pretty soon, it’s problematic as to whether it will ever happen.

Neutralizing Christians!

That old saying “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing” is more true today than at anytime in our history. And it seems that in the Christian Church (all denominations) we have more and more good men willing to do absolutely nothing at all to combat what is plainly evil.

Thee Christian Church has been mostly neutralized, starting with the Scofield Bible heresy and continuing on from there. There are a few good Christians here and there that still seek to combat evil, but bye and large, the Church as been put to sleep-and too many good men just don’t want to hear about anything “negative” or evil because if they knew some of what went on they might have to rise up and do something about it and that just takes too much effort that they no longer feel is worth the effort. They have been programmed to try to “snatch a few brands from the burning” and otherwise to let this world go to hell because it ain’t worth saving. Needless to say, I disagree with them, but that’s where many are and they’re not about to budge from that position. After all, the “rapture” is coming to take them out of this mess, so why bother!

I have known Christians that got ticked off at me because I pointed out some of the evil they did not care to be confronted with. I knew one man that, if I pointed out bad things going on he would say “I’m in complete agreement with you, but don’t you believe the Lord is in control?” The Lord being in control was his excuse for not doing anything about the evil .I have never felt the Lord wasn’t in control of it all, but I often feel that the Lord wants to control the evil through the efforts of His people–and too many of His people ain’t having any of that! No letters to the editor of a local paper or to your Congress critters about bad situations. Just not worth the effort!

Another man I knew never wanted to be told about anything “negative!” Everything always had to be “positive.” Sorry folks, but that’s not how the real world works–that’s the way a fairy tale world works! And while positive stuff is nice, you can’t just ignore the evil at work in the world and only focus on the positive.

Now admittedly, in my writing, I usually focus on lots of bad things that I have become aware of over the years. If I ignored the negatives and only accented the positives, I could not live with myself! I feel Scripture requires us to oppose evil that we might point to what the Lord expects us to do. Ignoring evil because we don’t want to have to deal with it doesn’t cut the mustard–anymore than leaving your kids in public school so they can be a “witness” to the system does! It’s a cop out! An excuse for not doing anything when we should be doing something .Not only have we become neutralized, we’ve become lazy! Neutrality (lukewarmness) has turned us into spiritual mugwumps–with our mugs on one side of the fence and our wumps planted firmly on the other side–good fence straddlers!

We should wonder how many of the ills in this country could be slowed down or even reversed if Christians just got off their couches of ease and got involved! How many “positive” things could be accomplished with more Christian input? I have a good friend up north who told me years ago that “Christians will flee responsibility like they would the plague.” I fear, at this point in history, he may be right!

Unitarian/Socialist Influence On Public Schools

The recent June 21st issue of The New American magazine is a special report on education in America. The people that publish The New American realize that the major problem we have with education in this country is the public school system. An informative article by Alex Newman in this issue is entitled Government Schools vs. Christianity. Among other things Alex Newman noted: Despite the myth of religious ‘neutrality’ and ‘secular’ schooling perpetrated by the government school establishment and its apologists, all education is fundamentally religious in nature. That is just as true in government schools across the United States as it is in Islamic madrassas of Pakistan. The only question is what what religion and what worldview is being taught.” This is a cogent truth that most people, Christians included, never seem to grasp.

Newman goes on to observe that “non-Christians and anti-Christians with communist leanings were primarily responsible for the government takeover of education in America beginning in the mid-1850s…The gradual replacement of Christianity in the public schools began early on in the history of government-run education. It started with Communist Utopian Robert Owen, the first serious advocate of a total government takeover of education in America. In Owen’s view, only government training of children in collectivism from a young age could produce people ready to dispense with private property and live for what he viewed as the greater good of the collective.

Owen’s collective colony in New Harmony, Indiana went belly-up after only a few years, as most of such socialist experiments did in the 1800s. And there were a lot of them here in the 1800s, from Brook Farm to Fruitlands to New Harmony to the Shaker towns in several states, although the Shakers lasted longer than some of the others.

After his dismal failure at New Harmony, Owen teamed up with Orestes Brownson to promote a “secret society modeled on the Carbonari, an early 19th century Italian secret revolutionary society to work toward that goal.” And Newman tells us that the object of this society was “…convincing the public to support a government takeover of education. The second was to get men elected to the legislatures who would help advance that mission. But there was an even more ambitious goal: setting up a national system of compulsory government schools that would exclude all religion.” Brownson said that “The great object was to get rid of Christianity.”

And Unitarian Horace Mann “wanted to get the Bible out of education under the guise of stopping ‘sectarianism’.” Mann was totally opposed to the Calvinist church schools in Massachusetts. Mann was totally opposed to Reformed theology–indeed he had apostatized from it and formed his own creedal statement of how he felt life should be lived and he wanted to foist that apostate world view on the children of Massachusetts.

All of this happened in the early to mid-1800s–not the 1900s! Our problems with public schools go way, way back to their beginnings. You are not going to reform them by going to parent-teacher meetings or running for the local school board or throwing more public money at the public schools under the fallacious guise of “quality education.”

The public school system will not be reformed because it is doing what it s founders intended it to do. Those who say public education has failed do not understand what this system was created to do. Actually, the public schools have been a howling success at what they were created to do–propagandize your children into accepting and embracing the socialist, anti-Christian worldview.

This should be apparent to anyone who engages in serious thought when you see what is being taught in public schools in our day. Our public schools are teaching concepts that Lenin and Mao would love and endorse. Why do you think that so many of our kids are so sold on communism and socialism? Because they are getting it taught to them in school, that’s why. Oh they don’t call it communism. They give it nobler-sounding names like Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project and a host of others. But what it amounts to is socialist doctrine and propaganda. If you choose to use public schools your kids are being indoctrinated in this stuff.

The articles in this latest issue of the New American advocate that you remove your kids from public schools and work to defund them and I could not agree more. Every new bond issue for public schools that comes up should be voted down. And they would be if only parents started to grasp the agenda of these brain laundries in sufficient numbers.

This Chinese virus that kept so many kids out of school last year allowed parents to get a look at at least some of what was being taught in schools and lots of parents did not like what they saw. Enrollments in public schools are down this year in many states, even here in Louisiana. Home school enrollment is on the rise–and that is good. We need to continue this trend.

More parents need to begin to grasp what the public school system is really all about, particularly Christian parents. Their primary goal is robbing your children of their faith and turning them into good, compliant little collectivists. Despite the efforts of some good teachers, that is the objective of the public school system and those that promote it, and people need to start figuring that out.

Marxist Propaganda In Public Schools Posing As Education

I have written about Critical Race Theory before, and I probably will again. It is such a pernicious world view that it deserves all the negative publicity possible. At this point, several state legislatures around the country have bills in their legislatures to ban the teaching of this theory in their public schools and, while I have no use for the public school system, I do applaud these efforts. At least some in these state legislatures recognize what a horrendous insult to real education this leftist drivel really is.

However, for some reason, that does not hold true in the state of Washington. According to https://thefederallist.com/2021/06/03/washington-mandates-critical-race-theory this leftist plague will be visited on all public school students in that state. According to this article: “The race-obsessed framework isn’t relegated to schools in Seattle, where you’d expect a victim-centered ideology like critical race theory to flourish. Thanks to the state’s Democrat-controlled legislature, a trio of bills just signed into law mandates critical race theory training for all public school teachers. Another even requires training for medical students, teaching them it’s as essential to be social justice activists as it is to treat patients.. While critical race theory mandates go into effect in the 2022-2023 school year, many districts are already jumping on board.” Two mentioned are the Issaquah School District and the one in Bellingham.

The article also observes that “Staffers learn that black people cannot be racist because they don’t have power, that whites benefit from white privilege even if they experience ‘high poverty’ and that virtually every American institution is founded in white supremacy.” Can you imagine teachers being forced to communicate this lunacy to their students? This is not education. This is Marxist indoctrination, pure and simple. It occurs to me that those who promote this sort of thing are the real racists and not those they are trying to teach this stuff to.

You have racial prejudice among all ethnic groups, not just white folks, and to try to tell students that they are “racist” just because they are white is doing them a real disservice. By the same token, telling black students they lack the ability to have racial prejudice is lying to them. And those that promote this twaddle know that.

I mentioned in a previous article, an article by Christopher Rufo on Imprimis for March, 2021, Volume 50, No. 3 where Mr. Rufo deals with Critical Race Theory. He states: “Critical race theory is an academic discipline, formulated in the 1990s, built on the intellectual framework of identity-based Marxism. Relegated for many years to universities and obscure academic journals, over the past decade it has increasingly become the default ideology in our public institutions. It has been injected into government agencies, public school systems, teacher training programs, and corporate human resources departments in the form of diversity training programs, human resources modules, public policy frameworks, and school curricula.” If you can locate Mr. Rufo’s article on the internet https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/imprimis_Mar_3-21

From what he has said, it doesn’t look like the leftists have missed out in many areas–education, business, you name it. While we have been busy and bemused watching ball games and reality shows the radical leftists among us have been busy with their efforts to subvert our institutions–and mostly we don’t begin to have the remotest clue. Where has the Christian Church been while all this was going on? Don’t hold your breath waiting for the answer to that one! I’m not sure you want to know!

For the poor folks in Washington who will be subjected to all of this I have some advice. Get your kids OUT of the public school system immediately if not sooner! Unless you want your kids to be trained to be good little Marxists, you don’t need this! And people in other states need to keep an eye on this situation, lest your legislators betray you and cave in to this sort of thing.

The leftists seem to come up with lots of noble-sounding euphemisms–tolerance, brotherhood, inclusiveness, and others, but when you look at the real guts of what they are peddling it is usually just a sugar-coated Marxism, with just enough sugar to fool the naive.

Critical Race Theory is bad news–Marxist bad news. Those who want to protect their children from this pile of leftist cow chips need to be aware of that fact. And once you become aware, then inform others.

No Wonder We Have Problems When Church Pastors Speak Out Against Anti-Abortion Bills

Many wonder why we have some of the problems we have in this country. They feel that a country like ours that has a mostly Christian background should not be beset with the situation we seem to find ourselves in. Yet we are, and part of the problem seems to stem from the fact that many who claim to speak for the Lord are actually promoting ideas that have no warrant whatever from the Holy Scriptures.

Researcher Kit Daniels recently had and article on http://www.infowars.com in which he stated that: “A group of pro-choice church pastors are protesting pro-life bills expected to pass in Texas. One Presbyterian pastor in particular claimed Texas Senate Bill 8 could expose pastors to legal liability if they recommend abortions…Senate Bill 8 and its companion bill, HB 1515, would ban abortions when a heartbeat is detected, which can occur as early as four to six weeks in a pregnancy.”

Another pastor, this one a woman, said “We will never give up our individual consciences, and religious freedom or our God-given right to choose.” Look at what this “pastor” is saying here–God gives women the “right” to kill their unborn babies if they decide that is what is convenient for them. The House version of this bill already passed by a 81-63 vote (and that was too close). Wonder if it was a party-line vote.

If pastors are promoting this convoluted thinking to their congregations do you wonder why the country is in deep trouble? Churches and their pastors should be promoting the preservation of life–not the taking of it. It is interesting to note how many “Christians” in this country stand in defiance of the death penalty but have no problem with aborting preborn babies. And please don’t tell me that a preborn baby has no soul and therefore is only a “fetus” because Psalm 139 gives the lie to that kind of thinking.

In relation to this, in our current pandemic situation, how many of those that say a woman can do what she wants with her own body advocate forcing people to be vaccinated to combat this Chinese Virus? See any contradictions here? Their rationale seems to be that we should do whatever Big Brother in Washington tells us to do but we are free to ignore Holy Writ when we feel like it. They have it exactly backwards. That seems to be a big problem for the Christian church in our day and because of that, a bigger problem for the country.

Whenever Christians are more willing to obey Harris and Biden than they are the Lord it is always going to be a major problem for the country. And part of this problem is also neutralized Christians that are “so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good.” The church needs to be out there confronting the anti-Christ culture and not pretending it doesn’t exist or backpedaling away from it because they don’t want to get involved.

Until this problem gets resolved things will only get worse. It seems today we have too many Christians apologizing to the Devil’s minions for offending them rather than resisting and exposing them for the evil they do.

Taking a Stand

April is Confederate History Month and we need to proclaim that without hesitation or apology. When leftist thugs howl about the South seceding so she could keep all her slaves we need to start asking them about those slave states that remained part of the Union all the way up until the 13th Amendment was enacted, months after “honest” Abe was dead and gone. Having never learned any real history most of them won’t know anything about that. You will need to remind them–not that it will shut them up–but it might slow them down a bit if someone has an accurate answer to their tomfoolishness.

Ray H. Shores had an informative article in the recent issue of The Southern Defender. He raised some good points both from a Christian and Southern perspective. He talked about duty calling us and wondered if we would answer. He wrote: “Now more than ever before, duty calls us to take a public stand for Liberty, which is more than just freedom. It’s freedom tied to Biblical principles, where the Founders of the United States and Confederate States took a public stand.”

And he continued: “It’s easy to say that we’ll fight when the going really gets rough–when the goons come for the guns, perhaps. But, what if the goons don’t come for the guns? What if they just make it a crime to use them without a permit–a permit that is rarely approved. We would be wise to remember that the Apostle Peter told Jesus he would stand up to the goons when the going got rough. Later, he cried tears of regret because he failed. Anybody can brag about things he or she will do tomorrow, but brave men and women are taking a stand now.” I have often heard people brag that “They will only get my gun when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.” And I have often wondered how many of those that loudly make this brag will be the first to line up and turn their guns in if push ever comes to shove. Bragging and doing ain’t necessarily the same animal.

At any rate,. Ray gave us a list of things most of us can work at doing right now that may help to forestall the enemies of Christian liberty we are all faced with today. I won’t list them all here but I will give you some of them–the ones that jumped out at me as I read them.

1. Pray for courage and protection during these times when we confront determined anti-liberty, pro-Communist foes.
2. In your front yard, on the tallest flagpoles you can afford, raise one or two flags of liberty…This action will embolden your children, your neighbors, and even yourself. Flags are a rallying point, and the sight of them builds courage and reminds the troops of the reason they are fighting…
3. Only support politicians that are active open champions of the ‘Original Intent’ of the U.S. Constitution and States Rights. Stop supporting weaklings, appeasers and con-men.
4. Study your Bible and work to repent of real sins instead of sins invented by heretics and Communists, such as the ‘sins” of owning too much property, having too much money, and associating with people of your own choosing. Claim the gender that God gave you at birth. Don’t support the ‘Woke Church’ and churches that adhere to the Communist-created ‘Critical Race Theory’.
5. Work to purify your mind through learning, and avoid corrupting influences, such as perverted and Communist-inspired television programs…
6. Work to purify the hearts and minds of your children. Try to avoid putting them into the clutches of Marxist-minded teachers or into schools led by conformists and people who fear the news media more than they love truth and liberty.
7. Patronize pro-Liberty businesses and websites. Use web browsers, social media and e-mail hosts that are not joined at the hip with the Federal government. Some of the Liberty flags Ray mentioned earlier are The Betsy Ross flag, The Bonnie Blue flag, The Confederate Battle flag, the Confederate First National flag, the Gadsden flag. I did articles about three of these flags awhile back on my https://thecopperhead.blogspot.com site–a site that has been seriously shadow-banned because I refuse to be politically correct. Hopefully this brief article will encourage some of you to take note of and celebrate Confederate History Month.

More Apostasy Funded by George Soros

Today I received a newsletter from an evangelical organization which contained the following: “Faithful America bills itself as a Christian organization, but the pro-LGBT organization got its start as an offshoot of the far-Left National Council of Churches. Two groups funded by atheist George Soros have served as ”fiscal sponsors’ of FA, funneling money to the activist group.” Many evangelical groups are not this frank and open, so this was a bit refreshing.

I can remember, years ago now, the John Birch Society published an informative booklet called Apostasy and the National Council of Churches. It went into a great deal of information as to many in the NCC that were in bed with the Communists and who were actual Communists themselves.

With that in mind, I decided to check out Faithful America to see what leftist goodies it offered the party faithful as well as the gullible. I was not disappointed.

I came across some far-left tidbits on https://www.idealist.org which tells us that “Faithful America is the nation’s largest online community of progressive Christians working to fight back against the religious right’s hateful political agenda and renew the church’s prophetic role in building a more free and just society.” You have to read through and discern the aesopian language to know what this means and not be fooled by the “lovey-dovey” rhetoric. What they are telling you with the word “progressive” is that real Christianity is their enemy. and anyone to the right of Lenin is to be attacked without letup. For them this is not just a minor difference of opinion–it is a war and the true followers of Christ have targets painted on their backs.

The idealist article continues: “In this moment of political and theological crisis for American Christianity, there is an opportunity to mobilize the Faithful America community as a powerful tool in confronting emergent threats to the church’s prophetic vocation, especially white nationalism and misogyny.” Did you get that? The real enemy of the church is not over on the left–it’s white extremism! Sounds like the line the Harris/Biden Regime has been peddling doesn’t it? That alone should tell you where “Faithful America” is really at.

I came across another article of interest on https://thewillcountynews.com which listed a ton of groups that have been funded by George Soros. This list originally came from Discover the Networks and sure enough, way down on the list, #74 to be exact, was Faithful America. Now anyone who is even remotely aware of where George Soros is coming from has to realize that, if globalist George Soros funds something it ain’t Christian!

Yet another article, posted 1/3/21 on https://www1.cbn.com notes that those who have problems with Faithful America say it uses faith “as a cover to silence conservatives.” From what I have seen of it so far, I don’t doubt that in the least. This article continues: “Scott Walter, the head of Influence Watch which tracks the activity and funding of groups like Faithful America, describes them as ‘Just another half-fake, left-wing nest of operatives. They get taken much more seriously than they deserve’.”

You have to wonder how many gullible Christians such groups deceive because they responded to the rhetoric without doing any homework. And the left dearly loves to gull unsuspecting Christians into supporting leftist agendas. They laugh all the way to the bank while Christians contribute to those that are trying to destroy their faith. This is Holy Week–a good time for Christians to begin to learn to discern who they should support and who they should expose as anti-Christs.

Faith vs. Unbelief…Liberty vs. Bondage

General Michael Flynn recently had some informative commentary posted on https://www.westernjournal.com for March 8th of this year. General Flynn talked about truth and his comments were insightful.

He said: “When fighting for truth, the most important place to start is to be well-grounded in the Truth itself. I am referring to Truth with a capital T, as in “I am the way, the truth, and the life’.” General Flynn knows where to go for truth and Who to go to, the One who is the foundation of all truth. (John 14:6).

General Flynn then makes some sound observations. He states: “Faith in God is an essential part of the fight to restore American greatness. Our personal faith is inextricably linked to our personal liberties. Alexis de Tocqueville, the great French author of the groundbreaking work Democracy in America wrote ‘Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention…The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other.’ De Tocqueville is exactly right. Prior to America’s founding no document in the world had directly linked the individual rights of citizens to their unique value and autonomy before an omnipotent Creator…Faith and freedom can never be separated from one another. If you wish to have boldness in the fight for America like our Founding Fathers did, have faith in Almighty God. Trust in His power as your sword and your shield…Make faith an essential part of your battle strategy today…”

It would seem that General Flynn has made some salient points in how we need to fight to get our country back. Unfortunately, in our day, most Christians seem to have forgotten much of the wisdom he has imparted. Many of them have no interest as Christians in fighting to preserve those liberties we have that are God-given. Many Christians do not deem God-given liberty worth fighting for. It seems to me that if God gave it then it is worth fighting for, lest we end up spurning what the Lord was gracious enough to bestow upon us.

But many of our brethren today seem to have had their faith neutralized to the point that all they want to do is wait for “the rapture” to take them out of this mess so they don’t have to be involved. Then there are those who say “Don’t sweat all this stuff. The Lord is in control.” If the Lord is in control that’s their rationale for not doing anything. The Lord will do it all and they can just come along for the spiritual joyride. I hate to burst your spiritual bubble, but it doesn’t quite work that way. Truly the Lord is in control. No sensible person would argue with that. But often the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, chooses to use His people to exercise some of that control. Unfortunately in our day, many Christians ain’t having any of that. That’s not part of their game plan. Their agenda is to get themselves to Heaven–end of conversation!!!

How often, in the Scriptures, do we see the Lord working by using His people to accomplish certain things? How about Moses, or Elijah, or even Jonah? God accomplished miracles through these men, and through Jesus’ apostles–but he used these people to do it. Faith in their Lord resulted in action from these men, not their just sitting around waiting for the Lord todo it all with no involvement on their part. That’s where we seem to be today. Many of our brethren seem possessed of “couch potato faith.” They will sit blithely on their couches, in front of the boob tube, watching CNN and then tell others not to worry because the Lord is in control and He won’t let anything happen to them or their country. True faith has been replaced by spiritual frivolity.

Preserving your liberty requires, as General Flynn noted, a sound grounding in the Truth and the One is the giver of all truth. It then requires action, sweat, effort, and a reliance on the Lord to show you how to use the truth He gives you to preserve what He has given you. Just sitting around waiting for the Lord to do it all doesn’t cut the mustard. Ultimately the Lord does it all, but He is pleased to use us in that process–and that is something we need to begin to think about.

Quit praying for a “rapture” and start asking the Lord to show you what He wants you to do to preserve the liberty He has given you. I realize lots of folks don’t want to hear this but the church as a whole needs to hear it and to rethink our exercises in spiritual lethargy. If we will not strive to preserve what the Lord has given use He will find others who will–and they will get the benefits and not us.

Has The Crackdown Begun?

The articles I am reading on the internet this morning are ominous. They portend evil for our future and a crackdown on freedom of expression in this country for everyone who is not totally apolitical or is not a part of the deep state/hard left coterie.

I have several sites I check out daily as I check over material I need to print off for use that day or the next. Most of these sites this morning had articles on them discussing the probable end of free speech under a Harris/Biden administration. There are so many of them I cannot list them all–just as there are too many people in Congress, the courts, and various state houses that are all willing to stab Donald Trump in the back. I would run out of space trying to list all the Trump traitors. I think some of these people would give Judas Iscariot a run for his money–and no I am not trying to compare Mr. Trump to Jesus Christ. I am just trying to make a point here. This country is rife with people in high places who daily work to subvert what this country was founded on. And they do it with joyful abandon.

I will mention here one that says it pretty plainly. It is https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/tyranny/censorship-is-now-the-norm-free-speech-is-officially-gone Mr. Armstrong is pretty straightforward in what he says here. Who knows how long it will be allowed to stay up?

Several articles caught my attention this morning. One was from the New York Post about Antifa aiding in the insurgency at the Capitol on Wednesday, seeking to provoke Trump supporters. In the same vein there was another from Natural News which noted that: “Far-Left Antifa/BLM activist John Sullivan has been identified as one of the people who allegedly was part of the siege of the Capitol building yesterday–you know, one of the ‘violent Trump supporters’ we’ve been hearing so much about in the news.” Sullivan belongs to a group called Insurgence USA. Naturally the mainstream media “forgot” to mention any of this in their frenzied effort to blame Trump supporters for all the violence. These hard left people pulled a false flag on the Trump supporters last Wednesday and who knows how many in high places gave their blessing.

Ron Kennedy, in his new book, Red State Red County Secession–Creating a Nation of Our Own tells us about those people. He says: “Modern-day America is controlled by a politically correct, new-Marxist shadow government. This shadow government is composed of new-Marxists who have infiltrated and now control America’s institutions of social influence. Neo-Marxists now dominate universities, the mainline and digital media, the entertainment industry, national and global financial and political institutions. They dictate what is acceptable–politically correct–in society and government.”

Ron has noted that: “Opinion polls documented that between 60 and 70 percent of Southerners want to keep their Confederate heritage symbols. This represents a vast reservoir of people who could initiate a massive, conservative, revolution if motivated.” The job of the mainstream media is to make sure these good folks are demonized to the point that they are afraid to be motivated. Local and state Republican officials do not help these folks at all. That wouldn’t be politically correct and it might give these folks a clue to the fact that there is no one out there that will speak up for them. And with a Harris/Biden administration it will get even worse. Those willing to support Southern, Western, or even regular American heritage may end up being accused of “hate crimes” against the deep state/neo-Marxist oligarchy in Washington.

Mark my words, there is a crackdown on ordinary Americas, North or South, coming if they dare to protest what is being done to them. In one of my recent articles I referred to “peaceful secession” in passing. I got several comments on that to the effect that the way things are now a peaceful secession would be impossible. The South tried in peaceably in 1861 and they were invaded. Should we expect anything different today? Secession wasn’t treason in 1861 and it wouldn’t be now, but how we approach it would need to be discussed and debated because you have to know the deep state ain’t about to let us go. We are their meal ticket and we supply our sons and daughters for their no-win wars around the globe.

The entrance of a Harris/Biden regime in Sodom on the Potomac will only intensify this situation because you can expect that regime to institute a crackdown on everyone that will not bow the knee to their political Baal. They don’t plan to govern wisely–they plan to rule and they plan to do it with a Marxist clenched fist! For you Christians that think you can just get by if you sit this one out, think again. The Christian Church will be in the gunsights of the deep state/neo-Marxist gaggle that plans on invading Washington on January 20th, so get ready!

Jesus Is LORD Regardless Of What The Deep State Says Or Does

In the first century the Roman Empire prided itself on its relligious tolerance. You could follow whatever sect or religion you wanted to, with no interference from the state–as long as you were willing to recognize Caesar as lord of all. Most religions of that day caved in and did that, allowing them to co-exist in a Caesar-dominated society. But Christians were not willing to do that.

For Christians to have agreed to do that would have been to acknowledge that, ultimately, Caesar was lord and that the Lord Jesus Christ was not. This they would not, and could not, ever do.

That being the case, what Christians did in Rome became a political act as well as a spiritual one. Most Christians in our day shudder at the very thought of that as they have been taught that Christians should have no contact or dealings with “the world.” Yet in the first century Christians did indeed have dealings with “the world” and in those dealings they rejected the claim of Caesar that he was “lord” and they reiterated the truth that “Jesus is Lord” (John 14:6). Lots of people in our day think that a statement of that truth is “intolerant” toward other religions, which are false. Yet nowhere in Scripture are Christians enjoined to be tolerant of false religions. That doesn’t mean they are to be purposely nasty to other people, but they are to preach the truth that Jesus is Lord–because it IS the truth.

And since it is the truth you might well say that “Christmas is war” because the truth of what Christmas represents is spiritual warfare with the rest of the world. The world and its political (and religious) leaders have been at war with the Christian faith since that first Christmas.

One of the early opening shots in that war was Herod’s slaughter of the “holy innocents” told of in the Second Chapter of Matthew’s Gospel, particularly vs. 16. Later on you had the ongoing war of the Pharisees and Sadducees against the Lord Jesus and what He taught and their resistance to the truth He preached resulted in the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, when the Lord returned in judgment against the apostasy of Israel.

Down through the centuries, up to and including the present one, there has been a worldwide resistance to the truth that Jesus is Lord, particularly in Communist countries but also more and more in this country.

Those who in our day are part of what we refer to as the Deep State are engaged in ongoing war against the Lord Jesus Christ because they realize that if Jesus prevails it will be the end of their dream of One World Government with them as its leaders.

What they don’t realize is that Jesus already HAS prevailed. He prevailed on the first Easter morning when He rose from the dead and because of that the days of the Deep State are numbered. Oh, most of us alive now will probably not live to see that, but it will happen in the Lord’s good time, as sure as the turning of the earth.

The Deep State is not lord anymore than Caesar Augustus was, although they’d love to be. Their entire agenda is predicated on the world bowing the knee to them. Sorry fellas, it ain’t gonna happen. There will always be “Seven thousand in Israel that have not bowed the knee to Baal” and nowadays, the Deep State is the personification of Baal.

As Baal passed from the scene, so shall the Deep State in the Lord’s time. That fact does not mean that the Lord’s people can just sit back and do nothing–the same way many of them have for the past 170 years. It means that the Lord may well use many of His people to enable the defeat of the Deep State to become an accomplished fact.

To that extent it means that Christmas, the birth of the Lord of Glory, is an act of war against all the powers of unbelief that have arrayed themselves against the truth expressed in John 14:6. Christ will prevail–they will not. That fact should encourage us in the dark days ahead that we currently look toward. The Lord Jesus has been and will be victorious and may He be pleased to use us in the winning of that ultimate victory.
