Do Your Elected Representatives Care About You? Don’t Make Me Laugh!

The question I started the title of this article off with is, obviously, a rhetorical question and any thinking person will realize that and already know the answer. I have never forgotten the bumper sticker I saw on a car, up in Tennessee, I think it was, years ago now. It said “I trust my president, and my government.” There was a lady driving the car, and I guess my commentary (spoken to myself) was rather a bit uncharitable. I thought, Lady, you’re an idiot if you actually believe what that bumper sticker on you car says.

Government has lied to so many about so much for so long that anyone that believes anything they tell us is probably a candidate for the rubber room, right along side that guy who thinks he’s Napoleon.

Not only that, but those in government, for the most part, laugh at us ordinary folks. Just this week I read a column by Jeff Crouere at http://www.ringsidepolitics.com where he commented on Pocahontas, aka Elizabeth Warren, from socialist Massachusetts. Warren was campaigning in Iowa and promoting her socialist scheme to eliminate student tuition debt. A father confronted her at a campaign event there, at which a video was made of what went on. The father said: “My daughter is getting out of school. I saved all my money. She doesn’t have any student loans. Am I going to get any money back?” To which Warren responded in a condescending manner “Of course not!” But the Dad wasn’t finished, and you could tell he was getting ticked at Pocahontas. He replied to her: “So you’re going to pay for people who didn’t save any money, and those of us who did the right thing get screwed…My buddy had fun, bought a car, went on vacations. I saved my money. He made more than I did. But I worked a double shift, worked extra–my daughter worked since she was 10.”

At that point, Dad realized that Warren didn’t give a tinkers damn about what he was saying, so he said to her “So you’re laughing.” Warren then sought to tell him she wasn’t laughing. Needless to say, she failed to convince him. He got his parting shot in when he said: “Yeah, that’s exactly what you’re doing. We did the right thing and we get screwed.” At that point Warren had already written him off and was on her way to her next patsy. Warren apparently has no use for people that try to do the right thing. She is too busy pandering to the socialist deadbeats she fervently hopes will be stupid enough to vote for her if only she promises them enough freebies.

Warren is sadly, typical of most of what is running for offices both at state and federal levels nowadays. She has no time  or patience for those who do try to do the  right thing. She is too busy trying to give away what they have worked hard for to some socialist loser who doesn’t want to bother working.

I watched awhile back as AOC unveiled her grandiose plans for our future, part of which was a guaranteed annual income for those who do not want to work. Again, I guess uncharitably, my first thought was “Lady, you’ve got to be some kind of stupid if you think those who sweat working for a living are going to be really overjoyed paying a yearly income to those who are too lazy to get out and sweat themselves.” Yet that’s what she is expecting. Where does she think (if she does) that the money is going to come from to support those deadbeats too lazy to work? It’s going to have to come, obviously, from people who do work.

That’s the main problem with so much of this garbage the socialists pour out there–especially their “redistribution of the wealth” agenda. They are going to soak the people who do work in order to pay those that won’t–and they think that those who do work will be deliriously happy to pay for those that won’t. And if we are not, then there is something wrong with us.

I said awhile back that socialists don’t think like normal people and some of the whacked out proposals they have come up with heading into this year’s elections prove that. And when normal people look at some of the insanity they have  planned for us and gripe about it, then they look down their long, convoluted noses at us and accuse us of racism, sexism, white privilege or whatever other charge they can throw at us because we refuse to support their damnfoolishness.

Socialism is a cancer on the body politic of this country and we won’t cure the problem by being “nice” to the socialists, who take our inoffensiveness as a sign of weakness. We need to start exposing them for who and what they really are–evil people, whose vision for America will end up destroying America. And what is worse, many of them, especially at leadership levels, know that.

Socialism Dehumanizes People

Years ago, when we lived in West Virginia, I can recall hearing a conversation between two people, one of which was a socialist, though he would not have recognized that fact. One of his comments during the conversation was that he thought “everyone should make (earn) the same” amount of money. The other person tried to explain to him that “it doesn’t work that way.” I doubt if the erstwhile socialist grasped that, but it’s true. You can’t expect a doctor or a teacher to work for the same wages as a custodial engineer (janitor), yet that was what the socialist expected and it really bothered him that others made more money than he did.

This is one of the problems of socialism. Socialism does not raise people up. Rather is suppresses them under the false guise of raising them up. And the people that promote it, like Bernie Sanders, realize that. Bernie is a millionaire, which means that he has no plans to ever live under the dictates of the system he promotes. He, as part of the ruling elite, is above all that. So don’t expect him to practice what he preaches to you.

There were a couple interesting articles by Michael S. Rozeff on https://www.lewrockwell.com this week, one on 1/26 and the other on 1/27. Mr. Rozeff noted: “The socialist teaching is familiar because America has already gone down that road ever since the New Deal of the 1930s and even before.” Mr. Rozeff is especially right about the “even before” part. The truth is we have had varying degrees of socialism in this country going back to the founding of the Republican Party in the early 1850s and then throughout the War of Northern Aggression, where Mr. Lincoln employed the use of socialist and communist generals to wage his war of aggression against the lawfully seceded Southern states. Lincoln was a centralizer and the socialists of his day loved him for that. So socialism and its pernicious influence has been around in this country for awhile.

Mr. Rozeff goes on to explain the rationale of socialism. He says “The socialist program is sold under the heading of justice or social justice. The socialist enterprise has a charitable ring to it, a do-good ring to it. How can anyone be against helping others, the less fortunate, as Christian morality asks?  Socialism sounds Christian and it feeds off the charitable impulse and Christian teaching, or parts of it. Yet socialism is godless. It pretends to aim for the dignity of every person, through supplying a minimum standard of living for everyone. But where is the bounty to come from that’s being distributed to all? It must come from those who produce it. Socialism forces producers to give up goods. Socialism is not a voluntary endeavor, and that alone makes it the antithesis of a Christian charity.

I recall, years ago now, a Christian pastor I knew who had an understanding of what socialism really was, made the statement: “If you decide to do something on your own to help someone, that is Christian charity. If the government forces you to do it, then it is communism.” I can’t argue with his rationale.

Rozeff states: “Theft occurs against someone’s will; no one volunteers to be robbed. Hence, there is no way for one group of people to authorize theft against another group and make it right. Socialism claims that such theft is right, or, more accurately, altogether ignores that theft is its philosophy and acts as if it’s right to take goods away from some people and give them to others. In contrast, Christian teaching does not approve of theft…” Therefore, Christian teaching cannot approve of socialism.

Rozeff then noted what should be obvious. He said “Socialism consciously dehumanizes in its quest for equality. It’s proud of it and advertises it as a great virtue and plus for socialism. The human being is reduced to a number and a real ID. Everyone is forced to conform to the same systems, like single-payer Medicare for All. Socialist propaganda hides their anti-humanity behind such slogans as equality and social justice. These are for the gullible…The ruling socialists are entirely uninterested in the individual person and the freedom of that person. They are entirely anti-spiritual and godless…Although promising otherwise, socialism actually aims to dehumanize the human being.” I doubt if anyone could have said it any better. In an earlier article I said that socialism was evil. Mr. Rozeff’s commentary more than bears out my earlier contention. Christians that support socialism have got a real problem, and, because of those that do, the church has a real problem.

Civil War or Revolution–The Socialist Mindset

The evil socialist mindset is on open display for all to see at present, especially in the State of Virginia.  There was an insightful article on https://www.americanthinker.com by William L. Gensert  for January 22nd. Mr. Gensert  observed: “Democrats conspired with foreign agents, lied, cheated, and denied due process to Donald Trump. If they were willing to do that to a duly elected president in order to obtain power, what should Americans expect them to do to them should they  refuse attempts to be disarmed? Democrats understand that an armed America can say ‘No!’ And they can’t have that. If they want to radically change the America extant for more than two centuries, they first need to disarm Americans. And they realize asking nicely is not going to accomplish this…Democrats will do their utmost to create a situation where blood is spilled and lives are lost to engender this war. They believe that only bloodshed will finally get the people on their side, willing to cede to them the control they need to ‘fundamentally transform the United States of America.'”

Anyone remember who said those last words noted above? It was none other than Barack Hussein Obama, right after he won the socialist (Democratic) nomination for president. I have contended that not only was Obama a radical socialist, but also a Marxist. In several articles I noted a book called Radical in Chief  that outlined Obama’s long socialist career. I doubt if most folks paid any attention. They should have, for Obama”s “vision” for this country was identical to what socialists across the country are trying to push onto the American public. Virginia today is a notable example–forced gun control, laws against daring to criticize the ruling elite, and several other radical agendas.

Mr. Gensert’s article also states: “The solipsist left believes they are on the side of all that is good, just, and reasonable and if Americans must die for them to be in control, it is a small price to pay to attain the country they believe America should be.” Admitting my ignorance, I was not familiar with the term “solipsist” and so I looked it up in the dictionary. A  loose rendition of it means that the solipsist thinks no one else but him knows anything and no one else’s opinion but his really matters. This is the perfect definition of the socialist mindset. The socialist may be wrong most of the time (and he is) but he is never in doubt as to the rightness of what he wants to see done, no matter how many lives might be lost in the doing of it. After all, if they are not socialist lives, then they are unimportant anyway.

Gensert, in his article, noted how Red Ralph in Virginia sought to demonize legitimate gun owners by painting them all as “illegitimate nuts.” He stated that “Members of his (Red Ralph’s) administration have threatened calling out the National Guard to seize guns from people whom they hoped would refuse to obey their new legislation.” And then he posits an ominous warning to the Democrats (socialists) when he says “Virginia Democrats don’t realize that making war on Americans who support the Second Amendment while trashing the Constitution will not get them the new civil war they think they can win. It will only precipitate a new revolution that will destroy them and their party for a generation…There will be bloodshed, but it won’t be on their terms. It won’t be a civil war, or even civil disobedience, it will be guerilla warfare. It will be revolution.” And if that is the case, how many of the socialist elites will be safe? Everybody knows who they are. Who is to say some of the newly minted revolutionaries won’t start going after them–because they will be noted as those who started all this misery to begin with.

Socialists can only succeed  by using force because no sane person would voluntarily agree to live in the hell socialists will create if given half a chance. Sane people will resist, even if they do not fully grasp the idea that socialists are mentally unbalanced.

It might not hurt if people around the country start looking at whether the states they live in have democratic leadership and where that leadership seems to be trying to take them.

How many states have Democratic governors who may try to push their state legislatures in a leftist direction if they can? And how many of those states have Republican legislators that may be willing to “waffle” a bit if a Democratic governor exerts a little pressure on them? People in every state need to keep an eye on those  they have voted into office, because, human nature being what it is (sinful) you just cannot  sit naively back and think your legislators will automatically do the right thing. Some will, but many won’t.

And you had better believe that what is going on now in Virginia will be repeated in each and every state where the socialists (Democrats) gain control. Virginia is the socialist’s pilot program. If they get their way there it will only embolden then to push the same nightmare into as many other states as they can.

Socialism is an evil that must be exposed for the fraud it is and then it must be resisted. James 4:7 in the New Testament tells Christians to “Resist the devil.” And while socialism may not be the devil, it is one of the devil’s main programs. Therefore, it must be resisted.

Are Virginia Socialists Trying To Do Away With The Bill of Rights?

In light of recent events in Virginia I think the title for this article is a legitimate question. It sure seems as though King Ralph, or Red Ralph, is headed in that direction.

In the wake of the massive pro-Second Amendment rally in Richmond the Virginia legislature has introduced several bills that can only be described as egregious violations of the Second Amendment. Do those people in Richmond realize the legislation they are pushing so vehemently violates the intent of the Second Amendment? Of course they do! That’s the whole idea. Violate the Second Amendment. They figure if they can get by with that in Virginia then other states will be emboldened to do the same thing. The whole idea here is to weaken, and eventually pave the way to do away with the Second Amendment altogether. The last thing those people want is an armed citizenry capable of resisting their tyrannical agenda. You see, in the final analysis, it is all about the people’s right to resist socialist tyranny.

Oh, they will prattle about “saving lives” and all the rest, but then these same people will turn right around and promote abortion and infanticide. So whose lives are they really concerned about? Not the average person’s. They should put big signs up in front of the capital in Richmond that state, in big red letters, Socialist Lives Matter! Because, to them, those are really the only lives that do matter.

But the socialist clique in Richmond not only wants to do away with the Second Amendment. They want to do away with the First Amendment as well. After all, you can’t have the average citizen in Virginia going around and saying nasty things about their exalted rulers. That won’t do at all.

In this vein, there is an article up on https://bigleaguepolitics.com which states: “In the wake of the Virginia gun rights rally on Monday, Democrats in the  Capitol are not slowing down their push for tyranny. They are moving a bill through the legislature that would effectively criminalize dissent against Governor Blackface Northam and other state government officials.”

Another internet article, by David L. Brockett, for January 24th, said that: “King Northam and his palace court are getting nervous. Boy those Virginia  Dems don’t know when to stop digging that hole! Now they want a law protecting state government officials from citizen ‘threats and harassment’. How subjective is that?” This bill is House Bill 1627.

This article also noted: “King Blackface Northam and his liberal bed-fellows realize that public opinion has turned sharply against them. The best way to stop that is to silence the peasants under threat of imprisonment or fines. Anyone else believe this will just lead to more public criticism?” It should! Lots more.

There was an article on http://www.cnbc.com way back on November 6, 2019 that stated: “Gun control was a massive issue in the race for Virginia’s statehouse.  Democrats will now control the legislature for the first time since 1994, as Mike Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety overwhelmed the NRA in spending during the election campaign. Everytown spent $2.5 million to support the Virginia elections, easily outpacing the approximately $300,000 spent by the NRA, which has its headquarters in the state. A gun-control lobbying group funded largely by billionaire Michael Bloomberg just helped Democrats take over the state government of Virginia–right in the National Rifle Association’s backyard.”

So, basically, for $2.5 million, Bloomberg bought himself a state legislature. Cheap at the price if your objective is to undermine the country. One wonders how many more state legislatures can be purchased for another $8-10 million.

It would seem that Red Ralph and his socialist cadre in Virginia have, as a major part of their agenda, the total destruction of the Bill of Rights in Virginia. Keep your eyes open in the near future to see how many of the other first ten amendments to the Constitution come under attack not too far down the road.

Red Ralph’s War Against The South

We have already seen how the gigantic pro-Second Amendment rally in Richmond, Virginia has had, and will have, no bearing whatever on Red Ralph Northam’s plans to institute gun control/confiscation in Virginia. As I stated in a recent blog, Red Ralph would not care if 99.9 of the people in his state were diametrically opposed to gun control. He would seek to implement it anyway because gun control/confiscation is a major tenet of the socialist revolution he is seeking to impose on Virginia. That’s right, I said Socialist Revolution. Might as well call it what it is. No sense pussy-footing around it. Socialists almost never manage to take over or retain control of territories where people retain their weapons. The weapons have got to go so socialism can remain. Dwell on that pleasant thought just a bit so when someone in your state who is in favor of abortion wants to implement some form of gun control because it will “save lives.”

That being said, I maintain that Red Ralph’s war against the good citizens of Virginia goes even deeper than his efforts to disarm them. Not only does he want to disarm them, he also wants to disenfranchise them from their Southern heritage, of which gun ownership is one part. He can’t do it all at once, so he had to start someplace, and the gun issue was as good a place for him as any. People can’t defend their heritage if they can’t defend themselves.

If you look at the demographics in Virginia you will realize that the areas most in favor of gun control are those in the northern part of the state–those areas adjacent to Washington–the great cesspool of the country. Northern Virginia has, in effect, become a giant bedroom community for carpetbaggery from Sodom on the Potomac.

I can remember the first time I was ever in northern Virginia. It was way back in the late 1950s. My Dad and I had visited Washington, and I wanted to go over into Virginia just to see it. We went over into Fairfax County and talked to some of the folks we ran into there. They let us know, politely, that we were south of the Mason-Dixon Line  and that they were proud of their Southern heritage. I doubt you would find much of that kind of sentiment in northern Virginia today.

When I look at the efforts in Charlottesville to remove Confederate statues and the efforts at Washington and Lee University to remove Robert E. Lee’s name from the school and Red Ralph’s agenda to try to remove the statue of Lee from Washington, and to remove Lee-Jackson Day as a holiday and replace it with “Election Day” I am forced to conclude that Red Ralph’s war against Virginia and its citizens includes much, much more than just gun control. Red Ralph is at war with Virginia and its Southern heritage and culture. These he hopes to destroy.

A basic mainstay of Southern culture is love of place and family, of caring for your children  and raising them up to do what is right and good. Hence, Red Ralph is in favor of infanticide–killing a newborn baby shortly after its birth if, for some reason,  the mother decides she wants to do this. Abortion is horrendous enough, but then killing them after they have been born has got to be a new low, yet Red Ralph sees nothing whatever wrong with this –as long as the baby is kept “comfortable” until its planned demise. Such a horrible idea is yet one more swipe at Southern culture.

So now you have a Democratic legislature in Virginia that is more than willing to go along with all this stuff. I have been informed that there were several districts in Virginia where the Republicans did not even field candidates but just left it to the socialist Democrats to win them by default. Laxity on the part of the Republican establishment–or a purposeful effort to let Red Ralph and his socialist cohorts capture the legislature and the State House? No one ever said all the socialists were Democrats. Before, during, and after the War of Northern Aggression there were lots of socialists who were Republicans. Donnie Kennedy and I wrote a book about them, Lincoln’s Marxists.  Socialists, even today, are still socialists, regardless of party affiliation.

So Red Ralph’s war against Virginia includes much more than his attack on the guns of Virginia. It includes an attack on the history, heritage, and culture of Virginia. Virginians who are astute enough to realize this will need to devise ways of combatting what he is trying to do to your state that will encompass more than just the gun issue, not that you can ignore that issue by any means. But, in context, you must realize that he is also attacking your culture and you will need to address that issue and point it out to those who may not have thought along those lines.

After The Huge Second Amendment Rally In Richmond Will Red Ralph Back Down? NO–He Will Double Down!

Well, thanks be to God our prayers were answered. The gigantic Second Amendment rally in Richmond, Virginia was peaceful and went off without a hitch. Maybe when they saw the numbers of armed protesters Antifa decided it would be lots safer to back off and play at being no-shows for the day. They are lots more efficient at beating up on those who can’t resist than they are about facing honest opposition. So much for their “opposition” to fascism!

If ever you needed to see massive opposition to gun control, you saw it today in Richmond.

Will all that make any difference to Red Ralph and his socialist cadre in the legislature? Don’t kid yourselves! Today’s huge demonstration won’t make him and his socialist cohorts back down. It will make them double down! You have to understand one thing about socialists. They have an agenda and they fully intend to fulfil that agenda. If 99.9% of the  people are opposed to that agenda that makes no difference whatever. They will continue to push that agenda no matter what! This is where people misunderstand socialism. They think socialists can be persuaded just like normal people can. If you can just show up with a big enough crowd to make them think twice about what they want to do, then you can change their minds about doing it. That may work with normal people. It does not work with socialists! Socialists do not get into office to merely govern. They get into office to rule–and rule they will, no matter what or who opposes them.

When they get into power they couldn’t care less what the populace wants. They are not in power to do what the people want. They get into power to do what they want–and what they want is unfettered control over the people and they will enact whatever legislation they have to in order to maintain that control

Many years ago now, someone wrote a book called Gun Control Is People Control. It was a good book and the title was almost prophetic because that is exactly the way it works out. If you control the guns then you control the people that you took them away from. When you have all the guns you can pretty much do what you want and who can resist except someone with a death wish?

The managed media spent the day denigrating the size of the pro-Second Amendment crowd. They also rather cavalierly informed their readership that, even though many thousands of people turned up to protest gun control, the vast majority of Virginians really wanted gun control. If so, why didn’t they show up to protest what the Second Amendment folks were doing? I’m sorry, folks, when the managed media tells me the vast majority in Virginia want gun control, yet thousands upon thousands show up to protest gun control, you will pardon me if I harbor doubts about what the managed media is trying to peddle.

Gun control/confiscation is one of the main tenets of the socialist agenda. So anyone thinking that because all these folks came to protest gun control will change the minds of any of the socialists in Richmond is kidding themselves.

Looking at the situation as it is now it seems you all have two options in Virginia. You can actively work to elect a better legislature next November, which is a long way away yet, during which time you will probably be saddled with onerous gun control bills. Or you can work through the sheriffs in your counties to get them to refuse to comply with unconstitutional (both state and federal) laws. Encourage them to deputize as many deputies as needed to resist state aggression and/or work toward forming legitimate militias in their counties, complete with the proper training and procedures.

The only way Red Ralph will be encouraged to back down is if there is such massive non-compliance with his edicts at the county level that he cannot possibly deal with it all–kind of a Cloward/Piven strategy in reverse. There are laws on the books in some states that simply do not get complied with. Look at the marijuana laws in some states. Many of them are just ignored. It’s more bother trying to enforce them than to just let it go. And there are even some gun control laws in New York state that few gunowners pay attention to–and no one says all that much there. This is the only way you are going to make any headway with Red Ralph. The non-compliance rate for his unconstitutional gun control laws has got to be so high that he just can’t deal with it–and most of that will be up to the county sheriffs.

The only parts of Virginia where gun control is popular are the urban areas. The rest of the state wants nothing to do with it. If Red Ralph was going to honestly uphold the state constitution he took an oath  to uphold, he would be forced to jettison his gun control agenda, but, as a socialist, you know he can’t do that. He has got to disarm the citizens of Virginia in order for him to do to them what his socialist agenda demands of him. Otherwise, his handlers will come along before the next election and make sure some other socialist gets to run in his place.

When Is A “White Nationalist” Rally NOT a White Nationalist Rally, but Really a Pro-Second Amendment Rally?

By this time, late on Sunday evening, most of you all have read the mainstream (and totally false) headlines about how tomorrow’s Lobby Day in Richmond, Virginia has suddenly, thanks to the lying media, morphed into a “white nationalist” rally.

Over the years I have been to lots of rallies and protests about various issues and, so, with a little experience with such things, I have to offer a comment here. A “white nationalist” rally and a pro-Second Amendment rally just ain’t the same animal. Oh, I realize the managed media and the managed politicians would like you to be dumb enough to lump the two together, but please do not be fooled by their balderdash–because that’s  just what it is.

An interesting article on https://www.redstate.com for January 19th stated: “If it wasn’t already blatantly obvious,  Democrats and mainstream media reporters (but I repeat myself) are hoping for conflict and bloodshed at tomorrow’s Lobby Day in Richmond…Elected officials from Gov. Ralph (“Blackface”) Northam on down and their friends in the media are working around the clock to label Lobby Day as a ‘white nationalist’ rally and make gun owners and white nationalists synonymous in the eyes of the public.

The article quoted Ben Collins of NBC News as he labeled tomorrow’s rally as a “white nationalist” rally. You’d think, from all this white nationalist flak being tossed around that no one except white nationalists ever owned a firearm. What about black gun owners–or is the leftist media too racist to admit they exist? What about Hispanic gun owners? Don’t try to tell me there ain’t any. I know better.

Another article, this one on https://pjmedia.com for January 18th observed:: “On Thursday, federal law enforcement officials arrested several white supremacists who, we are told, wanted to shoot up the Lobby Day rally in Virginia on Monday where 100,000 Second Amendment supporters will demonstrate. How fortuitous for the government. The arrests are giving Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and other opponents of gun rights a perfect excuse to portray all gun owners as mouth breathing racist hicks who can’t be trusted to carry guns anywhere.” Aren’t these arrests convenient, coming when they did? Convenient–or pre-planned?

And then there were Tom DeWeese’s comments, which also showed up yesterday. Tom DeWeese has been around long enough that when he says something you can probably take it to the bank. He said that he was in Richmond and had info from a reliable source that told him: “Antifa have rented seven buses to bring in their thugs to cause trouble.  The report says they will be wearing MAGA hats and wearing NRA garb. They will pretend to be pro gun people. Meanwhile others posing as Democrats holding anti-gun signs will stand on the side. The Antifa thugs, pretending to be pro-gun, will attack the sign holders. Making it look like the pro gun people have started the violence. This is the plan. If you are attending the rally be aware. Be very careful.”

So the fix would appear to be in for Lobby Day to make it look like a “white supremacist” rally, which it is not! Law abiding gun owners are to be deliberately smeared by a lying news media and lying politicians in order to give them and the Second Amendment a black eye in the view of the general public.

Pray that the Lord will not allow the rabid left to pull off this Draconian stunt and pray for the safety of the honest Second Amendment advocates there. As for the leftists there, I pray the Lord will allow them to fall into the ditch they are busily digging for others.

“The War Of Northam Aggression”

The title of this article is not original with me. Someone sent it to me as part of something they wrote about what is going on in Virginia and I felt it was so appropriate I couldn’t pass up using it. Whoever coined it originally obviously had a sense of humor as well as a grasp of what’s happening in Virginia. I give them credit for expressing it the way they did. It fits actual events.

Events seem to be shaping up so that Lobby Day in Richmond next Monday is going to be a real nightmare–and naturally it will play out so that those folks who are concerned about “the War of Northam Aggression” on their legitimate firearms will get blamed for that. That seems to be the way the script will work out if the powers that be have their way. At this point, probably only the Lord can  intervene to change that outcome–and we know He is able.

Why do I say it will be a nightmare? A couple reasons. This morning someone sent me a copy of an article off https://www.redstate.com for January 16th by Alex Parker. The title of the article is Say What? Antifa is Set to Protest Alongside 2nd Amendment Advocates in What is Sure to Be a Giant Mess.

The articles notes, in part, “:In a surreal turn, the apparently-unknowingly pro-fascism group will be hitting Virginia’s capital Monday to rally alongside Second Amendment advocates in response to the state’s clampdown on gun rights.” When I read that, my first thought was–it smells! After going and doing some other things and then coming back and re-reading the article, I still think it smells. I can’t see anything good in that situation for honest Second Amendment advocates. Lumping them together with Antifa, as is sure to happen as though it was planned that way, will not help their cause, which is a righteous cause. It will only hurt their cause–and I think that is the whole idea.

What if Antifa decides to act up and cause a big fuss at Lobby Day? You know who the media will blame for that and it won’t be Antifa. It will be the Second Amendment folks who will get the blame and they will be tarred with the “extremist” brush. I think that’s what Antifa will be there for.

Someone also sent me this from https:proamericaonly.org which was a brief video, the title of which was Jan 16, 2020 Call Out for Crisis Actor in Virginia..As GOV Declares State of Emergency. You really have to wonder what that one is all about–and it doesn’t take too much imagination to figure it out. Another false flag in the making? Again, to make the Second Amendment folks look bad.

You have to realize that, for Northam and his crowd in Richmond to even begin to look reasonable you have to demonize the good Second Amendment folks and I think that is what all of this is all about.

The prepper, Daisy Luther, had an article on http://www.lewrockwell.com for January 17th where she quoted a source that said: “So Virginia introduces a bundle of radical laws to destroy 2A rights, militias, sale transfer and registration bills, and the people of Virginia say no, and we’re going to vote you all out next term. Virginia government responds by introducing a bill to eliminate voter ID.  Virginia says we’re not going to wait, we’ll petition your removal from office and gets almost a 3rd of the 240K signatures to remove the governor and starts petitions to remove delegates. Virginia government responds by introducing a bill to raise the amount of signatures from 10% of the prevailing vote, to 25%. Folks, this is a textbook example of tyranny.  ‘We’re the government, and we’ll do anything we want, whether you like it or not. We won’t let you vote us out, we won’t let you remove us from office…And if you can’t possess the weapons that a militia would need to force us out, of office, then there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.”  Are you beginning to get the picture now???

An article from https://www.ammoland.com stated: “The Democrats are afraid of the voters and want to portray this peaceful assembly (at Lobby Day) of law-abiding gun owners in the worst possible way. They would love for it to degenerate to ‘violence, rioting, and insurrection’ in order to smear gun owners. Has the Democrat leadership actually invited violent groups to attend for the purpose  of disrupting our peaceful assembly?” That’s a very good question. I doubt if anyone would get an honest answer out of the Democrat leadership in Richmond, but the question still needs to be asked.

And, some penetrating commentary from Pastor Chuck Baldwin on https://chuckbaldwinlive.com where he says: “Make no mistake about it: This has the potential to be a Lexington and Concord redux…This is happening in the land of Washington and Jefferson–the land of Lee and Jackson…This oncoming Monday, January 20th (the day in between the birthdays of Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. ‘Stonewall’ Jackson, by the way), 100,000 Virginians are expected to descend on the Virginia legislature in Richmond to protest the gun confiscation acts–acts that can only be described as acts of war against the people of that state.”

Then, Pastor Baldwin askes an interesting question–one I have thought about myself. He says “Speaking of Donald Trump, has anyone noticed that this president who keeps telling us how much he supports the Second Amendment  has thus far said absolutely NOTHING in defense of the brave men and women of Virginia who are right now fighting for the right of every American to keep and bear arms? Not a peep! Not a tweet!”

I think Pastor Baldwin asks a legitimate question here. Why nothing from Mr. Trump on this hot button issue? I know he is all tied up with the impeachment imbroglio, but still, a few words of encouragement for the good folks in Virginia for trying to preserve the Second Amendment in their state would surely not be out of line for him. His silence on this very important issue does make me wonder.

There is a lot going on here that we don’t see or grasp–and I have a feeling that most of that is not good and that the Second Amendment and those of us who support it, are being sold out at the highest levels of government–be that in Richmond or Washington!

Red Ralph Seeking To Snuff Out Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement

There was a Virginia State Police officer that telephoned into http://www.infowars.com just this week and told them that “Obama was behind Red Ralph’s anti-gun “emergency” that is going on right now. Most folks who follow this kind of thing have noted that Obama did not just “go quietly into the night” when his presidential term expired. He was quite active in promoting anti-Trump activity from his new digs hardly a stone’s throw from the White House. Just because you haven’t heard anything from him of late doesn’t mean he is not active–in fact it may well mean he is active.

A former Navy Seal, Ben Smith, recalled that, when Obama was in office that: “Going back to the beginning of this administration, I’ve had friends within the community talking about how they were brought in and questioned with people from more toward the top side and the questioning…where it was pointing was do you feel comfortable disarming American citizens,” Obama was big into this sort of thing when he was in power. With all the Obama appointees still in government positions, there might be some folk who question whether he might not still be in power.

An article on https://bearingarms.com by Cam Edwards, for January 16, 2020 observed that: “Anti-gun politicians and gun control activists are busily crafting a narrative that Monday’s Lobby Day at the state capitol  is going to be a disaster of epic proportions; a rampaging mob of militia members, white supremacists, and ‘gun extremists’ intent on starting the Second Civil War or at least another Charlottesville.” This is the hyperbole you learn to expect from the Left–a total smearing of any and all who dare to disagree with their radical agenda.

Mr. Edwards also notes that “The real weight of the (Second Amendment Sanctuary) movement will come from the commonwealth’s attorneys and county sheriffs who use their discretion to not enforce unconstitutional gun laws. And yes, even in Virginia, law enforcement has the discretion to not enforce laws…Governor Northam himself claims there have been credible, though unspecified threats that require him to ban guns from the capitol grounds, though a spokesperson for the Capitol Police told USA Today that there’s no resemblance between Lobby Day and what happened in Charlottesville in August of 2018.” However, Northam would love to try to make that connection because it would help to portray all law-abiding gun owners as kooks and extremists, which would fit in perfectly with his agenda.

Cam Edwards notes further that: “I’ve watched the Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement explode across the state of Virginia over the past two months, and I know that the tens of thousands of people who’ve peacefully turned out for their local supervisors meetings aren’t going to suddenly turn into a rampaging mob when they show up at the state capitol on Monday.” That’s not to say that the feds or some other entity won’t  salt the crowd with a few agent provocateurs to act up to make all legitimate gun owners look bad. And if such should happen, you just know what the media will focus on. It won’t be the law-abiding gun owners, it will be that handful that has been sent in to make the honest gun owners look bad. And if you think the media doesn’t know the difference then you haven’t been paying attention.

Edwards already knows the plan. He says: “Gun control advocates and anti-gun politicians like Ralph Northam are doing everything they can to tamp down attendance and make it seem like a gathering of nutjobs will be taking place.” That’s exactly what the anti-gun crowd will be doing.

But Edwards concludes his article on little different beat. He says: “They know that this year’  Lobby Day isn’t the end of a movement, though it may be the culmination of the dozens of meetings where thousands of us have shown up to declare our support for our  cities, towns, and counties becoming Second Amendment Sanctuaries. It might be the end of a chapter, but we’re still at the beginning of this story. We still have to see what bills pass out of the legislature, what bills are signed by Gov. Northam, what bills get challenged in court, and what bills go into effect on July 1st. Then, and only then, will we see how these  Second Amendment Sanctuaries respond to any unconstitutional laws placed on the books.” In other words, it ain’t over ’til its over!

And on the same note, I heard just today that the Gun Owners of America and the Virginia Citizens Defense League have filed a joint court suit challenging what Northam is doing, claiming he is violating both the First and Second Amendments with his actions to present. And that happy note is a good place to close this article.

Gun Control Is A Tool Of Socialism

If you look, over the years, at those who have  promoted gun control, you find that the vast majority of them, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and a vast host of others, were socialists or communists of one stripe or another. Socialists usually have agendas that are not always wildly popular with those living under their regimes and so gun control is one way of “protecting lives” in such countries–socialist lives, nobody else’s because socialists don’t care about any lives but their own.

That being the case, what we see now going on in Virginia is running true to socialist form. You have a newly elected socialist regime there that, in order to be able to fulfil its socialist agenda, feels the population at large would be better off without the dubious benefit of firearms to protect themselves from the gentle ministrations of the newly elected socialists. The socialists feel they are much safer if you are not armed!

An article by Richard W. Rahn on https://www.washingtontimes.com for Jan 13th contains some insightful commentary on this.  Rahn observed: “The governor and the Democratic legislators in Virginia are proposing restrictive gun laws, which would make it much more difficult for law-abiding Virginians to defend themselves, as well as taking away some of their basic liberty. The Democrats are doing this, claiming it will save lives (which is rather ironic coming from a governor who endorsed infanticide–‘as long as the infants are made comfortable’–for newborn babies if the mother so decides). Note, the anti-gun mafia ignores all of the lives that are saved by people being able to protect themselves by having guns. (The Texas church shooting a couple weeks ago being exhibit one. Perhaps several dozen lives were saved by the fact that some members of the congregation had legal guns and were immediately able to put a stop to the madman.) There is considerable evidence that more guns in the hands of the law-abiding save, rather than cost lives..”

Rahn continued: “Almost all mass homicides are committed by mentally ill people or terrorists…Again, terrorists and the homicidal mentally ill are a real problem, and their behavior is not going to change because some physical objects they can use to kill people are made illegal.”

Rahn then notes something people should reflect on, and not enough do. He says: “It is no coincidence that many anti-gun zealots are also big government types, including socialists, who get their highs from taking the property and liberty of others…If Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam…seems to have deliberately misdiagnosed the problem and prefers to focus on the fake solution of gun restrictions which reduces the ability of the people to protect themselves, rather than dealing with the mentally ill and terrorists.”

Spending some time on the internet this afternoon, I came across people who couldn’t seem to figure out why Northam was doing what he was doing–and didn’t he realize what a burden he was putting on the folks in Virginia? Reading a few of their naïve comments is the kind of thing that makes you start talking to yourself.

I thought to myself “Come on folks, get real. Of course he realizes what he is doing to the people in Virginia. Do you really think he cares? I’ve got a revelation for you all. He couldn’t care less what he’s doing to folks in Virginia. If he manages to leave them all defenseless–so what? Since most of them are not socialists they are just not important! All he needs them for is the tax money he can siphon out of them and to make sure they all put their kids in Virginia’s public schools so they can be socialized beyond recognition. Other than that they are useless to Northam. And his socialist state legislature is already on record regarding how little they think of the voters in Virginia. According to some in the legislature, the voters are all “gun nuts” or crazy, or like “little kids.” Do you honestly think that legislators with these kinds of sentiments give a tinker’s damn about the ordinary citizens of Virginia? Let me clue you in–they don’t! You are nothing to them but sheep to be sheared–and the first thing you are to be “sheared” of is your ability to defend yourselves.

So many foolish people harbor the grave misconception that, socialism, somehow, is a caring and compassionate system. Their common sense has been tampered with. Socialism is a system that exploits people, all the while telling them how much it cares about them. Talk to people from socialist and communist countries as I have and you will soon realize that socialism is nothing more than a way to exploit those that live under it. It is an anti-Christ system that needs to be resisted and exposed for the total fraud it really is.
