The Americanized Taliban and ISIS in the South

We presently have, in the American South, a clique of people who try to elevate their questionable status by referring to themselves as “Progressives.” That’s a politically correct name for socialists and communists that want you to accord them much more status than they deserve. They feel that if they assume the lofty title of “Progressive” the ignorant American public will not be able to figure out that all they are is a batch of disgruntled Leftists who are trying to tear the country and culture down, and often getting foundation money for doing it. (Can anyone say “George Soros”?)

I don’t think referring to these Leftists as the American Taliban or America’s ISIS is out of line at all. After all, they are using the same MO to do here what the Taliban and ISIS have done in the Middle East. Their agenda (and the agenda of the foundations that pay them) is to destroy Southern and Western culture, and their feelings really get hurt when we refuse to tell them that what they are doing is culturally uplifting. With these people, the destruction of Southern culture has become an art form. However, when you look at what they are doing here, you get the sinking feeling you have seen it somewhere else before–and you have.

In my Internet ramblings, I found an article on http://www.rawa.org for February 26, 2001 which stated: “Taliban militia supreme leader Mulla Mohammed Omar on Monday issued a decree ordering the destruction of all statues in Afghanistan including ancient pre-Islamic figures…Media reports have said zealous officials among the ruling Islamic militia recently destroyed several ancient relics in Kabul Museum including an exquisite and priceless Buddha dating back some 2,000 years.” An article from the same source for February 27th, 2001 quoted the Islamic militia leader as saying “all we are breaking are stones.” That seems to be the attitude some here in the South have toward the removal and destruction of Confederate statues and monuments. The fact that removing these will change our culture is not supposed to be noticed.

Another article on http://news.nationalgeographic.com by Andrew Curry for September 1, 2015 observed: “The ancient city of Palmyra in war-torn Syria, flourished as a Roman trading outpost around A.D. 200. ISIS militants seized it in May and are destroying some of its historic buildings. Islamist militants in Iraq and Syria continue their war on the region’s cultural heritage, attacking archaeological sites with bulldozers and explosives.” Another part of the same article described ISIS “dynamiting of centuries-old Christian and Muslim shrines.” Does it sound familiar? Those people are the Middle-East’s history and culture destroyers–doing away with what came before them and is, in most cases superior to them.

They have the exact same mindset as their American brethren in the South and West–tear down what you don’t agree with and replace it with your worldview and agenda, which, if it is Leftist, is certain to be inferior to what they are trying to destroy. And if you destroy the faith, culture and history of not only the upcoming generation, but also of past generations–who gives a rip? It’s all part of the game. Gotta break a few eggs to make a (socialist) omelet don’t you know.

So the Taliban destroys statues of Buddha in Afghanistan and ISIS dynamites ancient Christian shrines in Iraq and Syria–and the Powers That Be work at taking down Confederate monuments and flags in New Orleans, Charlottesville and Lexington. Is there really much difference? They’re all removing and destroying or distorting history. They’re all spiritual brothers and most likely have the same Father (of lies).

Just take a look at where on the political spectrum those who want to destroy our monuments and flags are coming from. You don’t see any Libertarians or John Birch Society members there do you? But you see lots of various kinds of Leftists, socialists, community organizers and their ilk. These are always the sort of people that are trying to do away with your history, faith, culture, and symbols and seeking to replace them with their faith, culture, and symbols. If your theology demands that you stand up and defend the symbols of your culture (and I hope it does) then their theology demands that they destroy your culture and symbols.

They realize they are in a theological battle, most of you all don’t. You haven’t been trained to see it that way. They have. They spell out their religious creeds in The Communist Manifesto and in Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, which he dedicated to Lucifer. The best most of you all can do is “heritage not hate” which, while it is somewhat helpful, is not nearly enough, since hate had nothing to do with it to begin with, except on the part of the Leftists, who hate your God, culture, and the symbols of that culture.

We have to find some way to inculcate a theology of resistance to Leftist designs to destroy our  culture. Perhaps checking out Ron Kennedy’s new book Dixie Rising–Rules for Rebels (Shotwell Publishing Columbia, South Carolina might be a good place to start.

At 1 a.m. in the Morning With Snipers on the Roof!

Think your Southern culture, history, and heritage are not under attack, constant attack? If you don’t, then you really better wake up and smell the coffee.

Just take a look at what is going on in New Orleans right now in regard to Confederate and historical monuments. You are about to see a major exercise in cultural genocide. Hopefully you have been keeping an eye on what has been happening in New Orleans in the last year regarding Confederate monuments and other historical statues.

There has been a battle over these monuments–it’s been in the courts–and naturally the cultural Marxists won in the courts. With your culture under assault, did you actually think it would turn out any other way?

Recently a bill was introduced in the state legislature that would have protected all these historic monuments and statues of veterans that fought in all wars in this country. I think it ended up in some committee that decided they would study the situation for the next 99 years. In the meantime, the vaunted mayor of New Orleans made plans to get rid of statues of Lee, Beauregard, and Jeff Davis, as well as the Liberty Place Monument, which has been the first victim of this politically correct purge.

The city had a hard time finding someone willing to take these monuments down, but they finally did, under the cloak of anonymity, which included workers with black vests, yellow helmets, and cloth to cover their faces, and “snipers stationed on a nearby parking deck looking down on the scene.”  This all happened at 1 a.m. in the morning! I wonder what would have happened had some group come along to protest what was being done. Would the police snipers have shot them all?

The statues are being hauled down because they have been declared to be “…public nuisances as symbols of racism and white supremacy.” There’s that old “racist” bugaboo again. The cultural Marxists dearly love to slap that term on anyone that dares to disagree with them. If we refuse to get with the Marxist program then we are automatically all racists, sexists, homophones, Islamaphobes, you name it. And all those terms are meant to shut you up so no real dissent to the Marxist agenda is allowed.

Mayor Landrieu, brother of Obama-clone Mary Landrieu, who couldn’t support her Marxist-in-Chief, Obama enough while she was in office, has stated, in his exalted place as mayor that: “New Orleans celebrates our diversity, inclusion, and tolerance…Relocating these Confederate monuments is not about taking something away from someone else. This is not about politics, blame or retaliation…” The hell is isn’t! Mayor Landrieu has wormed his way into his position twice with his opposition to these monuments and by pandering to the cultural Marxist crowd.

So Landrieu celebrates diversity, inclusion and tolerance, but when it comes to those categories in New Orleans, no Southern Heritage folks need apply. All that diversity and inclusion doesn’t extend to them. All they are good for is to pay taxes to support the welfare crowd. Once they’ve ponied up their cash for that they can take their flags and monuments and go home!

There was an interesting comment by columnist Tim Morris on http://www.nola.com for April 25th where he said: “I’m not sure what kind of message the rest of the world receives in the images of monuments being dismantled in darkness by masked men. And many missed the chance to celebrate our diversity, inclusion, and tolerance at 2. a.m. We can only trust that our government officials are taking the appropriate steps because they have told us they are.” Mr. Morris, that’s pretty thin reassurance as far as I’m concerned.

Part of New Orleans past, part of her history, is being systematically removed–and that is not by accident–it is deliberate!

Writer Boyd Cathey, in an article on http://www.abbevilleinstitute.org made a very telling observation as to what this is really all about. he wrote: “A people without a past, that is, a real and discernible history, is a people with no real future.”

And that is the cultural Marxist agenda for the South–destroy your history so that you have no future except what they choose to provide you with. And I have to tell you, I’ve seen what the cultural Marxists want to provide you and your children with, and I can tell you, you’re not going to like it! But in order to avoid it, you have got to learn to fight back. Sitting in front of the TV and watching the ball game won’t cut the mustard. Just like we are responsible for educating our kids, so we are also responsible for preserving our culture and their heritage–and if we refuse to do it, the day will come when our kids will curse us for it!

“Earth Day” is Really “Birthday”–Lenin’s That is

Way back in 1970 the “Environmentalist Movement” so called, was launched upon an unsuspecting public in the form of Earth Day, on April 22nd of that year. There was so many “environmental” events  pushed at that time that I can’t remember them all. The vast majority of them came from the political and religious Left and were, if you take a close look at them, designed to control people’s lives to a large extent.

An almost totally overlooked fact about April 22, 1970 was that it just happened to be the 100th anniversary of the birth of Lenin, the first butcher of the Soviet Union. Now what made the promoters of “Earth Day” choose this particular date for their yearly observances? Coincidence? Slightly possible, but hardly likely. Movements that originate on the Left are very conscious of the symbolism of certain dates and one of the mind games they play on the rest of us is that they get us to celebrate those dates they deem important but they give them different names so we celebrate their important date without realizing it. Hence the title of this article.

Many astute commentators have recognized the true origins of the environmentalist movement. Years ago one of them noted that the environmentalist movement had picked up the nickname of “the watermelon gang” and that was because they “were green on the outside and RED on the inside.” I think that is a very apt description of them. Under the noble-sounding description of promoting a healthy environment what they actually promote is cultural Marxism on a grand scale, getting government to promote their agenda where they can get away with it. In the end it is all about promoting some form of One World Government. The “energy crisis” and “global warming” aka Climate Change are all part of this, as is the United Nations Agenda 21 program with its “economic sustainability” program. All these projects have one end in mind–control of the populace as to what they can do, what they should think, or where they are permitted to go.

Back in 2009 an article on http://www.climatedepot.com for July 10th of that year noted: “Former Vice President Al Gore declared that the Congressional climate bill will help bring about ‘global governance’.” Gore also observed: “But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance and global agreements.”

There was also an article, also back in 2009 on http://www.freerepublic.com for 11/26 of that year that stated: “Obama’s socialist Science Czar John Holdren, who once said that forced abortions were needed to save the planet, is also involved in the Climategate Scandal. Holdren, another socialist in the White House,  was pushing global cooling before he was pushing mad-made global warming.” It seems that the Leftists who want to control every aspect of our lives want to have it both ways. If global cooling won’t do the trick then how about global warming?

I also ran across another article that said: “”Global warming fraud exposed by email hackers.” This give you any idea as to why the feds are suddenly so hot to crack down on email hackers? Even George Will got into the act in a 2009 article on http”//www.newsmax.com when he talked about the agenda for a Climate Summit in Copenhagen. He observed that: “Its organizers had hoped it would produce binding caps on emissions, global taxation to redistribute millions of dollars, and micromanagement of everyone’s choices.” There’s that old Marxist “redistribution of the wealth” scam–all part of the phony “environmentalist movement.”

All this and lots, lots more can be traced back to the 100th anniversary of Lenin’s birth., So, in the final analysis Earth Day is really a celebration of Lenin’s birthday and earmarks a whole new level of attempted Leftist/Deep State control over our lives.

Who Did We Elect–Donald Or Jared?

From all the news items I have been reading of late I am beginning to wonder who we all voted for in November–Donald Trump, or Jared Kushner and his wife, because it seems that we are getting the Kushners’ agenda instead of the agenda Donald Trump told us he was running on.

Mr. Trump has done several good things, but of late he seems to be leaning more toward being what we all voted against. I realize that with your in-laws ragging you all the time about the advisability of their agenda, as over against the agenda the voters put you into office to enact, it gets sort of difficult. But in all honesty, Mr. Trump, we did not elect you so you could fulfill  Jared Kushner’s liberal agenda! We voted for you so you wouldn’t do that. You said in your inauguration speech that you were returning power to the people. I sincerely hope the people you were returning it to were not Jared Kushner and his wife.

An article on http://www.zerohedge.com  for April 19th noted: “The global warming activist democrats in Trump’s White House,  led by Ivanka and Jarod Kushner, are trying to convince the President to reneg on yet another campaign pledge, against the advice of Steve Bannon. According to Bloomberg, a pro-Paris bloc in his administration, which targets greenhouse emissions, is recruiting energy companies to lobby the President to remain in the controversial agreement that he specifically said was a waste of money during the campaign…Both Steve Bannon and EPA head, Scott Pruitt want out of the agreement. But since Trump’s fashion designer daughter wants to keep her liberal NYC friends, the President is said to be weighing his options.” You know this Paris environmental fiasco has to be bad when even the head of the EPA doesn’t want anything to do with it.

Supposedly the administration will decide what they are going to do before the latter part of next month when world leaders get together for their next “climate change” bash in Paris.

Should Mr. Trump decide to go along with this foolishness they will naturally then be compelled to enact a whole new set of environmental regulations in order to comply. One wonders if the new regulations they will have to enact will cancel out Mr. Trump’s recent action of getting rid of cumbersome regulations in this country that were supposed to allow coal miners in West Virginia, Kentucky, and other nearby states to get back to work. If so, do we then have a classic example of the political shell game–giving some folks something with one hand and then taking it back with the other.

If Mr. Trump goes along with this environmental bilge flowing from the Paris agreement, will this undermine national sovereignty and self-government, because the whole point of this will have been to put the United States into a position where an international agreement, treaty, or group will be the deciding factor in what we do with our energy resources nationally?

I’m sorry, but “the science is far from settled” when it comes to global warming, and the fact that, years ago, the global warming people were caught fudging on their figures only proves that they don’t really have the “evidence” they claim they have. At one point Mr. Trump seemed to grasp that. It seems now he is in the process of forgetting it.

I supported Mr. Trump in the last election, the first time I have voted Republican in a presidential election literally in decades. However, I supported him conditionally–on the condition that he would try to do what he said he would. So far he has managed to do some of it, but if he, for whatever reason, suddenly decides to change horses in mid-stream and begins to support the neo-con/socialist Deep State agenda, then my support and that of lots of others like me, will be gone.

Should he, for whatever reason, start acting like Hillary’s second cousin and doing what she would have done, he will lose millions of supporters and those folks will go somewhere. He let nationalism out of the bag with his rhetoric. He will find that it’ won’t be that easy to put it back.

April Is Confederate History Month–but the gutless will never proclaim it!

February was black history month and if you are like me, you heard about it until it was coming out your ears. The “fake news” media never ceased to deliver unto us some little tidbit that had to do with some aspect of black history. And it didn’t all cease on the 28th of the month either.

April is Confederate History Month and I’d be willing to bet you haven’t heard the first word about it from the “fake news” media. This is one of those things that they, in their unending wisdom, have deemed you don’t need to know anything about and so the MSM will do as much as possible to make sure you remain totally unaware of this. It’s called “selective reporting 101.”

There was a time when some Southern governors would issue proclamations noting the observation of Confederate history month. However, in the past few years, most Southern governors seem to have developed a severe case of political intestinal discharge when it comes to acknowledging that anything Southern or Confederate is even fit to exst.

The governor of Mississippi seems to have been the one exception to this rule, for which I applaud him. If there are others that have issued proclamations that I am not aware of, I apologize to them for omitting mention of them.

Confederate and Southern history and heritage groups usually have various events during the month of April to mark Confederate history month. Their having such events and observations has become even more critical and important in a day when the cultural Marxists are busily trying to tear down any remembrance of Confederate history, from our flags to our monuments, even to school and street names. I have said it before (maybe some have grown tired of hearing me say it) but it still needs to be said. “Those people” (the cultural Marxists) want us all gone and forgotten and they are prepared to labor to make that happen. If you have observed the blatant cultural genocide being practiced upon us in the past couple years, you have to be aware of that.

I can’t speak too much for what goes on in other states, except possibly for Virginia, with the Virginia Flaggers. Those folks fight the good fight every month of the year and they must be doing something right because they get lots of flack. Here in Louisiana, the Sons of Confederate Veterans, as well as others who believe in preserving their heritage from the Leftist onslaught, take part in several events in April that highlight their preservation efforts.

A couple weeks ago there was a big Confederate flag caravan that drove all the way from Shreveport, Louisiana to Vicksburg, Mississippi and back again. This was on a Saturday afternoon and lots of folks on Route 20 saw all those cars, motorcycles and Confederate flags–going and coming. I understand another group did the exact same thing on Route 10 in South Louisiana.

Another event that occurs on a yearly basis here in North Louisiana is one called Flags Across the Ouachita. Those who support Confederate heritage and history gather on the Lea Joyner Bridge over the Ouachita River, with all manner of Confederate flags at rush hour on a Friday afternoon You cross over this bridge to get to West Monroe, Louisiana from Monroe, Louisiana, and it’s pretty busy during rush hour on a Friday, so lots of commuters get to see all those folks with their Confederate flags. And lots of folks honk their horns and give us a “thumbs up” to show their appreciation–which shows that, in spite of all the cultural Marxist efforts in this area, a goodly number of folks just haven’t bought into that agenda. These, and other efforts, let the cultural Marxists know that “we ain’t goin’ away easy.”

This year, a lady reporter and a cameraman from a local TV station happened by and stopped to talk to several of us and interviewed a couple of us. I let her know that all of us standing there holding Confederate flags were not native Southerners. I told her I was originally from New England and the next man up from me was from Ohio. This seemed to surprise her somewhat, but as we talked to her, we tried to convey the truth that this was, at root, more than a North-South issue–this is a cultural issue, and good sincere folks from the North who understand that, almost inevitably end up supporting the Southern right to celebrate and promote their culture.

So, folks, keep your ear to the ground. You just may find out that more of such events go on than you are aware of–and we don’t do them just in April That would give the cultural Marxists the other eleven months of free time to work at destroying our culture. So these events will take place when and where needed. One final thought–don’t depend on the MSM to enlighten you about such things. They have a vested interest in keeping you in the dark.

Compassionate Communism For the Kiddies

Years ago I read an article by William Lind in which he labeled many of America’s colleges as “little ivy-covered North Koreas.” Having had some experience with colleges, I have to say honestly, that Mr. Lind’s description is not all that far off. He knew whereof he spoke.

I recall a college on the East Coast (and some of my readers will know about this) that, back in 1970, invited a “community organizer” (that title ring any bells?)  to come in during a special session they had for students in early January of that year, supposedly to help students “solve their problems.” It turned out, thanks to a good bit of exposure by a pastor who had a local radio program there that the public was able to find out that this “community organizer” was, in fact, a well-known  and identified Communist Party member who was there, basically, to indoctrinate the students. Naturally the parents of the students were not informed of this man’s Leftist connections and when the pastor exposed them on his radio broadcast, every day for about a week, it was truly a revelation to most folks. Then, someone who had access to the school’s mailing list sent a letter to several of the parents detailing this man’s Communist connections. And this wasn’t “fake news”–the pastor had the goods on this turkey. Unfortunately this sort of thing, to one degree or another, is very typical of American colleges and universities.  Parents need to be really careful about where they enroll their kids in college. All that seems to glitter ain’t necessarily gold!

It’s generally pretty well agreed to by most of us that have looked at what public schools try to do to our kids (unless we educate them privately) that the public education system is already (and always has been) slanted precariously toward the left, so you already have that to deal with going in. There is probably a handful of good, faithful teachers that keep the system from sliding totally over the Left Bank, but they seem to be getting numerically less with each passing year.

And now it seems that one college in the East may be getting impatient and may want to aid the public school system in a speedier communizing of  your kids.

According to http://freebeacon.com  for April 10th: “MIT Press Publishes ‘Communism for Kids’ Book.”  The subheading for this article is “Lovable little revolutionaries teach children communism is ‘not that hard’.” The MIT Press is run by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. So here we have a major college in this country publishing a book, written by a German writer that specializes in political theory and queer politics. Now is that a magic combination or what? If you don’t think these two subjects have common aspects to one another, then you haven’t been paying attention.

This is a children’s book, published by MIT Press in March of 2017, and it sells for only $12.95–a convenient price for impoverished revolutionaries  who don’t have lots of bread to spend. This is a book that will help them radicalize their kids on the cheap.

The author of this book, Bini Adamczak, is German, and so MIT Press had to translate this book into English to get it into publication here Seems like a lot of fuss for a book teaching kids to be communists–unless someone involved in the whole process wanted this revolutionary work to be available for parents and kids in this country that would be prone to use it. And what does that tell you about MIT?

The Free Beacon article notes: “The book is full of cartoon drawings of ‘lovable little revolutionaries’ that help navigate the kids through the ‘evils’ of capitalism.” Wonder who will be around to navigate them through the evils of communism, which are much worse. A main thesis of this kiddie’s tome is that communism really isn’t all that bad, but it just seems that way because it hasn’t been “done right.” I’ve seen this kind of thing done before in books for adults, and permit me to say that this kind of specious reasoning amounts to little more than a gigantic pile of Texas cow chips that you don’t want to stick the toe of your boot into on a hot day. And you especially don’t want your kids anywhere near it!

This kind of thing, published by a college or not, is pure propaganda and any parent allowing this kind of thing for their kids is guilty of dereliction of duty as a parent. I have, over the years, talked to people who have lived under communism. Back in the late 1970s I interviewed a lady from Ukraine, who had lived there during World War 2,  for a magazine article I wrote. What she could tell you about communism would curl your hair–but then, I guess that was because they just didn’t “do it right.” Her family ended up in a German labor camp, where she said they were treated better than they had been being “free” in Ukraine. But I digress.

If you have to send your kids to college and you don’t have lots of choices, then you need to keep an eye on the books they use for course material and you need to, as much as possible, ascertain what their professors are giving them for lecture materials in class. Otherwise they may, at some point, when they graduate and get married, rear up a bunch of “lovable little revolutionaries” for you as grandchildren.

Common Sense? The Power of Prayer? Or Both?

My last two posts, on April 8th and 11th were both understandably negative given what seemed to be transpiring. It seemed as if Trump had totally jumped the traces and was totally into “nation-building” and out of  the “America First” business. It was inconceivable to me how he could have turned so quickly.

The folks that were praying for him I urged to keep on praying for him, that he would have the wisdom to do the right thing.

Either the power of prayer, or good old common sense, or both, prevailed–at least for now. I expect this problem to arise again, if not with Syria then with some other hot spot somewhere in the world. Mr. Trump has so few good advisers that will point him the right way and so many bad advisers that are more than anxious to push him into starting World War 3 that this is going to be an ongoing struggle for him. Quite frankly, he has lots of folks giving him bad advice that he’d be lots better off without. He’s be lots better off if he cleared them out of the White House and awarded them all ambassadorships to Lower Slobovia or East Overshoe or some other such location–someplace the damage they do could be limited. And I am not talking here about Steve Bannon. His vision here is more in line with Mr. Trump’s than it is with the Neo-cons who are trying to start the next war.

If we fight another war and it’s a nuclear war, maybe some of these war-mongers have got bomb-proof shelters they can go crawl into. What about the rest of us? They couldn’t care less as long as they get their war.

Anyway, according to an article by Michael Goodwin in the New York Post Mr. Trump is not planning an invasion of Syria. He is quoted in the article as saying “We’re not going into Syria, Our policy is the same–it hasn’t changed. We’re not going into Syria…Our big mission is getting rid of ISIS. That’s where it’s always been…”

And Rex Tillerson said on Sunday, April 9th that he still stood behind: “a political process that we believe the Syrian people will lawfully be able to decide the fate of Assad.” That is as it should be, whether foaming at the mouth liberals (socialists) and Neo-Cons like it or not. It’s not up to us to be running all over the world saying who can rule here or there and who can’t. Quite frankly, most of it is none of our damned business! And we wonder why the rest of the world hates Americans! It’s because we are always sticking our noses in someplace they aren’t wanted. This country has a Yankee/Marxist mentality. We think everybody else’s business is our concern. This attitude has abounded since the War of Northern Aggression.

So keep praying that the President will get the counsel and advice he needs to govern wisely and that the Lord will be pleased to shut the mouths of those who want more wars and foreign entanglements and eventually, a New World Order.

Is Trump Being Manipulated By the Neo-Con War Mill?

Watching the Washington situation, at this point it seems to be up for grabs as to whether Donald Trump will reaffirm his dedication to “America first” or whether he will totally slip the traces and, for whatever reason, embrace the Neo-Con’s “Empire first” agenda. He seems like a ship caught between two icebergs.

Watching all that is going on (and that’s no fun) leaves one with mixed emotions. There is a certain sense of betrayal many of us have felt, and yet there is something else going on there–difficult to define at the moment.

Trump is being squeezed by his adversaries, and, reportedly being pressured by some in his own family to do exactly what his enemies want him to do. They’ll heap praise on him until he has done it, and once he has done it, his enemies will spit in his eye and gleefully toss him on the ash heap of history–where they belong! The Donald Trump you see today is not the same Donald Trump you saw three weeks ago. Something is happening and it ain’t pretty, even for Trump.

There was an article on http://dickbishirjian.com for November 9, 2016 that, in retrospect, gave a little history of Ronald Reagan. It noted that, in the Reagan administration that …”liberals willing to serve were given that opportunity over the best efforts of conservatives…What happened? The minute I saw Ronald Reagan choose “New World Order” Bush for his running mate, I realized the ball game was already over–and I voted Libertarian that year. Reagan was “our man” with the rhetoric but the liberals got lots of the action. How many CFR members were in the Reagan administration, or Trilateral Commission members? And the article continues: “Now comes Donald Trump. Will he be co-opted’?” That process is strongly underway as I write this. Whether it will be completed or not will take someone smarter (or with more inside information) than me to accurately answer. But keep your eyes open and your powder dry!

Then there was also an article on http://www.lewrockwell.com which had the headline:  Trump’s Bombing: Empire First, America Last. The author, Michael S. Rozeff, wrote, on April 10th that”Trump has filled high offices of his administration with men and women who strongly believe in the neo-con version of U.S. world dominance. They want to remake governments and reshape countries.” He notes one of them in particular that might be of some interest to many of us in the South–Nikki Haley.  Seems like this lady is in a big hurry to reshape Syria–just like she helped to reshape culture in her own state of South Carolina when she made a big fuss over Confederate flags there after the shooting in Charleston. Her shots there became the opening volley in a slithery, low-down campaign, pushed by the Establishment and the Left,to practice cultural genocide on the South, its people, and culture. Is she playing the same game in Syria? Will the sun rise in the east tomorrow???

An article on http://www.teaparty.org for April 10th observes that: “President Donald Trump has picked an economic adviser who believes in growing the nation’s economy by importing workers and consumers and by expanding free trade outsourcing, despite Trump’s  ‘buy American’ campaign promises.  Kevin Hassett is slated to become chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers if he is approved by the Senate’s banking committee. If Hassett is confirmed that will be a win for the corporatist, business-first faction in Trump’s White House, which fights for influence in the Oval Office against the populist, America-first faction that helped Trump win the election in November.”  So why is a man like this, who opposes Trump’s “America first” campaign even being considered for this post? It seems we have at least two factions in the White House jockeying for control.  Dare I paraphrase this quote from Scripture–A White House divided against itself cannot stand! Maybe that’s the idea. And the article closes with this; “…Immigration makes the government more powerful,  so the selection of pro-immigrant Hassett is being cheered by the D.C. advocates, including his predecessor, Jason Furman,  who chaired the CEA under former President Barack Obama.”

Although Trump claims to want to defeat globalism (a worthy goal) it also seems that in some way,  he seeks the approbation of the globalists. If this is so, he is kidding himself. Once you oppose those people publicly you are never forgiven. You are on their black list for life–and Mr. Trump had better grasp that fact.

This will have to be continued in another article. There is just too much material here and the article, should I attempt it in one sitting, would be so long no one would read it in this non-literary, texting era.

For those praying for the President, I would say–keep on praying. Pray that he will gain the wisdom to understand the intrigue swirling around him, and that there are some people in this world that you can do nothing with except to resist them. Pray he will seek the Lord’s guidance as to the direction he needs to go in and be willing to do that.

Something Smells Rotten in Syria (and in Washington, too)

By now almost everyone still breathing has to have heard about this gas attack in Syria. Everyone is screaming that Assad did it, but as is the case with the fake story of Trump and his Russian connections, I have not seen any real evidence yet. Emotional outbursts there have been in abundance, but let’s see some evidence. There was none with the “Trump and the Russians” scenario, so let’s see some with this gas attack that proves that Assad did it. They say that Assad has that sarin gas used in the attack. He probably does, but ISIS has it too, or at least some possibly watered-down form of it.

The reports I’ve heard say that Assad has been winning his war against ISIS. Not that the news media would ever report that. But, if that is the case, why would he then turn around and pull a bonehead stunt like this one that will set everything back for him and get the Americans mad at him? It makes no earthly sense!

And something else bothers me about all this. All of a sudden all the people in Washington that hated Trump’s guts; McCain, Pelosi, Schumer, and a whole batch of other slithery Leftist creatures who couldn’t say enough bad things about him re now, all of a sudden, staunchly in his corner and they just love what he is doing in Syria Does that tell you anything??? It tells me that they have finally found some way to co-opt him, whether through his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, which I have seen reports of, or in some other way. All of a sudden Trump is dealing with the very folks that, a month ago, were working to slit his political throat. And his core concept of making America great again  seems to be going by the wayside in favor of the neo-con’s “nation building” program in the Middle East–the exact same game Comrade Obama played so very well, as did Bush 2 before him.

Interestingly enough, on http://www.garynorth.com for April 8th, Mr. North noted: “Donald Trump campaigned on the promise he would ‘bomb the hell out of ISIS.’ Instead he bombed installations of the Syrian government. This was on April 6, 2017–one hundred years to the day after the House voted for war with Germany.” This gas attack has “false flag” written all over it!

Back when Slick Willie was in office and having his problems over “that woman” Monica Lewinsky, and there was talk of his impeachment, Clinton “suddenly” decided to bomb Iraq–with “the unanimous support of his national security advisers.” Given the body count of those who had disagreed with the Clintons over something or other, would they have dared to say anything else? According to an article on http://www.dailymail.co.uk  for August 26, 2016: “The strikes–known as Operation Desert Fox–were ordered the day after the House of Representatives issued  report accusing the president of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ and ended the day the articles of impeachment were passed. Previous strikes in 1996, Operation Desert Strike, were ordered during a campaign finance scandal.” So it often seems that problems in the Middle East suddenly erupt when some scandal in Washington is about to erupt–and they are very convenient for focusing media and public attention on the Middle East, and away from the potential scandal problem. Understand, I am not accusing President Trump of anything, except possibly a lack of historical knowledge and probably taking bad advice from some family members, and those who have a vested interest in dragging us (and him) away from his “America first” agenda and back  into the New World Order agenda.

Consider this; there seems to be a growing possibility that this Susan Rice affair could turn out badly for Hillary and the other socialist Democrats and there has been mounting concern over that in the past couple weeks. How much have you seen in the prostitute press about that since this Syrian situation hit?

Mr. Trump has been a shrewd businessman (and I don’t mean that in a negative sense), but I don’t think he has yet grasped the totally devious nature of the political mind and how underhanded it can really be. That, and bad advice, for whatever reason, from his in-laws,  seems to be leading him down the New World Order’s garden path at this point. Let us pray the Lord will give him wisdom to see where all this is going, and that he might repent of it and return to his original vision–the one the voters put him into office to enact.

What About Hillary’s Security Clearance?

Just read an interesting article on http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com for April 5th that stated: “A stunning report from Fox News indicates that the Obama administration granted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton  and six of her top aides access to top secret and classified information–even after she left the State Department in 2013, even after she announced a run for the White House in April of 2015, and even after FBI Director James Comey declared that Clinton and her staff had been ‘extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information’.” Seeing that Hillary and associates are above the law I realize none of this will make any difference, but it bugs me enough that I have to write about it anyway.

Knowing the Marxist proclivities of the Obama administration this should come as no surprise. With classified information in the hands of the Obama administration, the country’s enemies already had control of it, so if Hillary, accidentally or otherwise, spread some of it around–why who cared?

Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa noted this and he said: “I have repeatedly asked the State Department whether Secretary Clinton and her associates had their clearances suspended or revoked to which the Obama administration refused to respond.”  No surprise here either. Obama continually “stonewalled” Grassley’s requests for this information. That tell you anything?  Grassley took note of this and passed this information on to the new Secretary of State under Trump, Rex Tillerson. He also observed to Tillerson that Clinton had asked for access to classified information because she was in the process of writing her memoirs (again).

How many times has this woman testified before some congressional committee or other that  she could barely remember her own name and that of her infamous husband, but any details over and above these seemed to totally escape her? Yet when it comes to writing yet another book (for which she will get millions) all of a sudden all the memories and details thereof come flooding back (at least those she wants us to know about).

Just a couple brief questions here: Why did she need access to classified information to write her memoirs? Was she planning on passing along some of that information to her readers? Fox News also asked some of these same questions so I am not alone. The Political Insider article noted: “Fox News reported, ‘The State Department has not yet responded to an inquiry from Fox News as to whether Clinton, or her staff…still have access to the classified and top-secret archives and systems’.”

Believe it or not, almost three months into a Trump administration, this question is still pending. Grassley is still wanting to know if the current Secretary of State agrees with the FBI determination that Hillary was “extremely careless” in dealing with classified information. He also wants to know–and this is the sixty-four dollar question–Has the State Department started to review the security clearances of Hillary or her aides?

Grassley asked that question, as noted in an article on The Hill on March 31st of this year. So it’s a legitimate question at this point. One can almost hear someone in the State Department shouting in reply: We have already cancelled Hillary’s security clearance tomorrow!  So, has Hillary’s security clearance and those of her aides been revoked at this point–and if not, why not??? That’s the other brief question.

The State Department has been a thorn in the sides of genuine patriots all the way back to the days of Alger Hiss. Maybe none of you all are old enough to remember him. If the name doesn’t ring any bells look him up on the Internet.

So we need to ask, in all honesty–even with a Trump administration–do we still have the same problems with the State Department that we have had in the past? What about Hillary’s security clearance??? Has it been revoked, or do we need to start asking our senators why it hasn’t been? Rand Paul might be a good one to ask about that. I’m sure he’d have a more genuine concern than many of the others, and he’d want answers too.
